Summary: A Very Organized Callas Document
Review: It was with a great deal of anticipation that I awaited the arrival of the much touted Callas Unica. I discovered a very organized document with many Callas photos, most of which I have seen before, and a very limited text. Like this author's other books on famous singers, there seems to be a conglomeration of statements from artists who were aquainted with the subject. In the case of this book, there are pages devoted to comments of people who didn't even really know the divine Callas, such as Mady Mesple, a French soprano who shared nothing remotely related to the Callas genius. An item for the die-hard fan only.
