Rating: Summary: Remarkable Account of the World's Sleeziest Business Review: Wannabe is a truly remarkable portrayl of a world guarded with gold screens and littered with fallen bodies. Mr. Weinberger's laces this book with violent wit and insight that will enchant and amaze the most skeptic of readers. As a Hollywood producer, I was amazed at the take-no-prisoners accuracy Mr. Weinberger's work. Wannabe is a behind-the-scenes look at the underside of the world's sleeziest business. It is story that has been told exceedingly well in this remarkable work.
Rating: Summary: one of the most fun and enjoyable reads i have had in a long Review: wannabe was an excellent and enjoyable journey. weinberger's writing style was just how i would think. the book is an entertaining trip through the real-life trials, tribulations, and frustrations one would feel (and he did feel) living the life that most people dream of: but after reading, may change their minds about the 'beautiful' hollywood life. everett weinberger's style is 'matter-of-fact' and true to life. as the reader, you feel as if you are in his shoes, feeling his frustrations, and for short moments, feeling his highsand humorous moments. the hollywood life everyone dreams about is shown to be not such a glamorous place, and the actors we all think are immortal, aren't all such nice people; but a bit eccentric and uncaring. this book is a great vacation book, but be careful...once you pick up this book, you may forego a few hours in the ocean for a few hundred pages!
