Summary: Buddy is Brilliant
Review: I loved this book soo much, I could not put it down. I kept imagining Buddy with his great lisp telling his life story and it made it so much more fun. This is a book that nay Buddy or KITH fan will enjoy. I reccomend it wholeheartedly, hilarious!

Summary: Great piece of work, Scott
Review: I must say, this is one funny book. Not a little funny, a lot funny. So funny that my carpet now has stains from when I spit out drinks. But, when you reach the end, it's not just funny, it's touching. I was very impressed by this book.

Summary: Buddy At His Best
Review: I wasn't always a Kids In The Hall fan, that is until I saw Buddy Cole, after seeing one of his funniest monologues to date, I couldn't resist. I began to watch the show every day. Some say I'm the female Buddy. I say the character and I share alot of similar views on life and fashion. Being an author myself I find that I'm very skeptical about literature. Basically if I didn't write it, it's trash...reading Buddy Babylon has changed my views. I really enjoyed the book from start to finish. It kept me up many nights, as I found it hard to put it down. When it got to the point where I only had twenty or so pages left a terrible saddness came upon me. Buddy Babylon is the kind of book you never want to end. A never ending story if you will. It's becomes your best friend, best source of entertainment, and enlightens your soul with insight, and a warm indescribable feeling. All in all, as taken from the man himself, if I were stuck on a desert island with just one record, one person and one book....my answer would be The Best Of Elton John, Scott Thompson and of course Buddy Babylon: The Autobiography of Buddy Cole. Cheers!

Summary: I love Scott Thompson
Review: I will admitt this book does start out slow. I'm not big on drug use, but there is more to this book then just comedy. I feel as though it really does portray the life style of a gay man fairly adequately, while being real (thread of aids) and hilarious (as only buddy cole can look at things). I would reccomend this for any Kids in the Hall fan, but if you're not a fan, still give it a shot, it's worth it :)

Summary: A page turner, Jaw dropper.
Review: It is a Brilliant novel. Scott Thompson and Paul Bellini once again show their comic Genius. If there was one thing that could have been changed was that if the book matched the monologes it would have been better for some. I have watched Kids In The Hall and think that the little references in the book that only some would notice was a real relief because I found I got so caught up in the story that I would forget that this is the beloved Buddy Cole of the Kids in the Hall. It is a book I will read again and again.

Summary: I love Scott Thompson's book
Review: It is well written, very funny, and I didn't fall asleep reading it. This is the first book I haven't fallen asleep to. I think It was the best book I have ever read. The part about when Buddy gave head to Marco in the public bathroom was the best.

Summary: This book is THE best!
Review: It's been three years since "Kids in the Hall" went off the air, and the Buddy Cole scenes in BRAIN CANDY were cut out. It was due time to get out Buddy Cole fix, and it is not a disapointment. The book is funny, and it isn't too skimpy. (you know...100 pages and 75 of them pictures. You don't get that!) Read it again and again!

Summary: Absolutely My Favorite Book Ever
Review: My only problem with this book is that it made me laugh uncontrollably in public. Repeatedly, I found myself sitting alone in some public area with tears streaming down my face, trying to maintain composure while convulsing with laughter. More, Scott, more!!!!

Summary: Who wouldn't Like This?
Review: Now, I've been a big Kids in the Hall fan for about 8 or 9 years. Now Buddy had always been (and still is!) my favourite Character on this show! When they cut his scenes from Brain Candy, I was so upset! I missed Buddy! Now, I got this book, and I just have to say: Butterick Lives On! :) byebye!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Kick back and enjoy the ride!
Review: Scott Thompson & Paul Bellini did an admirable job of fleshing out the phenom that is Buddy Cole. The story flows seamlessly as we witness the life that is Buddy's. It is downright Dickensian in the beginning and hilarious throughout. If no one had every seen or heard of The Kids in the Hall, that wouldn't matter. This is a fun story and a must read for gay and straight alike.
