Review: Don't even think about being a hardcore U2 fan and not owning this book!!! It is perfect for U2 collectors, trivia ( almost won a radio contest today thanks to this book!!!), and is an Ideal book to make a collection of rare tracks with... Ever heard the U2 song "Womanfish"??? I wouldn't have had I not have owned this book!!! You can find mp3's of songs you didn't know the title to before, or songs you didn't know exsisted!!! Plus, learn all the facts about the shows you have tapes or cd's of, or shows of theirs you have been to!!! 5+++ stars and then some!!! Can't wait for the Elevation version for the complete Popmart and Elevation stuff, one of the best books I own!!!

Review: Every die hard U2 fan must own this book. A Concert Documentary provides extensive info including venue, date, attendance figures and descriptions of, literally, EVERY single show U2 has ever played (up until the end of the Zooropa tour). It also includes many pictures. The last few pages contain comprehensive lists of: songs never performed live, cover songs performed, guests appearing onstage, etc. Absolutely essential.

Review: First of all, let me say that overall this is an awesome book. It chronicles virtually every U2 performance from their formation in the late 70's to the first 5 PopMart shows (in the "updated" version). I bought the updated book thinking the entire PopMart tour would be included. Well it seems that publishing deadlines prevented the author from including anything further than the first 5 shows of the tour, so if you're purchasing this book strictly for the PopMart "update" version prepare to be disappointed. Other than that, it is an excellent book, providing set lists and descriptions for every U2 concert in the past 20 years.

Summary: If you have the previous version, don't bother w/ this one.
Review: I, like many others, agree that this is the best biographical account of the career of U2 as a live band. Other than listing & describing every single U2 concert known to man, it highlights all of the other juicy tidbits in between. I must add that the photos are also very nice. Unfortunately, I cannot give this second edition a full "5 stars" because it seems as though it was published too early. The stuff on PopMart is only the first five shows, so the PopMart info is virtually nothing special. If you you have the old one, save your money; if you don't, might as well buy this one! I don't know why Pimm couldn't have waited out the rest of the tour.

Review: If only we all were so lucky to have the time to so completely research and gather U2 concert stories and memorbillia! This book is so fantastic - it's almost as good as being there, and it keeps interest of even non-U2 fanatics. Can't wait for an updated version to include the Popmart tour (hint, hint)- I have a few stories to add to that one.
