Summary: A Very Deep Book by a Very Deep Man
Review: This book is not as humourous as his first book, Don't Stand to Close to a Naked Man, but it shows a new side of the toolman. A side that is not shown in his show, any of his stand up comedy or in his first book. To show this side of himself, Tim Allen had to take a large step, and in doing so, he shows that he is more than a man's man. He shows that he's also a thinking man, and his world does not completely revolve around tools and cars, though they are a large part of his life. This book still has its humourous points, but has a much more serious tone overall. It is much more philosophical and deals with Quantum Mechanics, and it brings up some very large questions that we rarely deal with on a day to day basis. This book will not only make you laugh, it will also make you think.

Summary: Acertained my conviction that things aren't what they seem
Review: This book is NOT for those looking for a sequel to Tim's popular first one. This one's on the deep side. Tim Allen made a great effort to make his incredible experiences be published and known to the public. With a little bit of humor, obviously.

The book convinced me that reality is more that what our 5 senses tell us. It opened me up on the subject of quantum reality. Even famous phycisists are now talking like eastern mystics.

"I'm not really here" doesn't answer life's questions but is a REALLY GOOD WAKE UP CALL. It gives the drive to make you go and look for your own answers.

Summary: A Real Tour-de-Force of Nail-biting humor
Review: This book is so funny I almost fell out of my chair! I loved it more than I loved Tim's first book. If you read one book this year read this, its really neat.

Summary: Tim Allen on a roll
Review: This book reads like a comic novel, telling the story of what it's like to be rich, famous, and home alone for the weekend with your midlife crisis and a bunch of strange things happening that you can't explain. I really liked this book. It's even funnier than Allen's first -- which was pretty funny, too. Even better, it moved me emotionally. It's not often that you get both in a book, much less from a guy known for blowing up toasters. Seinfeld, Reiser, DeGeneres and the rest have nothing on Mr. Allen.

Summary: Excellent Book. Couldn't put it Down
Review: This book was marvelous! The way Tim Allen writes is af he is right there speaking to you. Full of small humorous tidbits and laughs. A must read

Summary: Greatest Book I Ever Read - BUY-IT NOW!!!
Review: This book was not what I expected but BETTER. I heard about it on a TV special about Tim and immediately bought it. It is Interesting from cover to cover. Tim talks about life, and family, and Quantum Physics!! All with a great sense of humor. In this book I AMAZINGLY learned more about the reality of our world and how everything fits together in the the best way someone could explain it, DEF NOT BORING!

Some parts new the end were mind-bending! So amazingly new concepts about life to grasp but at the very near end Tim brings the meaning of life together. Tim talked about life like a close friend who is really smart would at the same time as telling jokes from time to time about crazy fans and silly nuances of everyday life from email to going shopping at the grocery store.

WITHOUT A DOUBT YOU SHOULD BUY THIS BOOOK. YOU WILL BE HAPPY WHEN YOU READ IT!

Summary: Truly unexpected & worth adding to collection of favorites!
Review: This book was recommended by my brother-in-law. It is NOT the type of book I would pick up (I do not read autobiographies... or books that look like them). I literally read it cover to cover in the same day. There's more to Tim Allen than I ever imagined - we have read many of the same books! This book is a prize for those who can grasp the vision. It is definitely not 'science fiction.' It's real (perspectively speaking)

Summary: a great book !
Review: This book was very funny.

Summary: The idle ramblings of a good natured TV star.
Review: This is not philosophy! And if you've read anything of the more rigorous books dealing with quantum physics for the lay person, you'll find this a complete waste of time. If you want to know what TV star thinks about when he has too much idle time on his hand, read away. I stopped a little more than a third of the way and wondered why I had read so much.
