Summary: Excellent, good stuff and a fair price
Review: This isn't a pack of 10 of the same thing. This is a set of sheets, one for each class plus spell sheets for the spell casters. There's also a generic class sheet and a multi-class sheet.

Each class sheet is customized for the various class-skills, special abilities and feats. With one sheet of paper, AD&D3 PC generation goes from cumbersome to simple. Even better, all the spellcaster's spells are present in one (two for the mages) follow on sheets. PC gen couldn't be easier, even with the new rules to learn.

Highly recommended. The only reason I didn't give five stars is that the layout, while quite functional, has no pizzaz to it. Works for me but you wouldn't call them 'beautiful'.

Summary: Ahhh, the usual WotC way to force you into buying sheets
Review: Well, I'm sure most of you figured out how Wizards almost forces you into buying their character sheets. Right? You see, they make the sheet thats in the Player's Guide sooooo close to the binding that it's almost impossible to photocopy perfectly. Well, its easy to copy here. But for the product at hand (and not the trick) these sheets are rather useful. I myself don't use them (instead I printed out a 7-page awesome character sheet, even though I am a player for 3% of my time playing D&D), but when I got my players some for christmas....wooo hoo. They made so many photocopies of it, that we almost were using a new one for every level they advanced! These sheets are basically the ones in the Player's Guide, but for some reason they seem more...clean when photocopied. I loved updating these sheets, rather than having to update it on computer (like we did before). Just to let you know, I keep my player's sheet and update them throughout the game, because that's a useful way for me to play. The players love not having to gawk at their amazingly low life :-) Overall- Get these if you want nice, smooth photocopies of the character sheets, or are just going to use these. They are very good.

Summary: Huh??
Review: Why pay 7.95 for Character Sheets when you can go use a copier or use a scanner. to me it was a waste of time to buy this when the CD-Rom for the PHB and WotC website has them for free.

Summary: What a joke!
Review: Why would anyone buy these when you can downlod .pdf files of the character sheets for free off of WotC's website, or when the Player's Handbook comes with a demo CD of a character generator program that prints out very nice character sheets for free?

Summary: Neat, but a waste of money
Review: With a photocopy-able character record sheet in the Player's Handbook, there is really no need to shell out 10 bucks for this product. Chances are, you'll go through many more character sheets than are provided. Even if your gaming group pools together a few dollars each to buy this product, there will not be enough to go through more than a few characters. Save your money for the other products, instead.

Summary: High Price, Just Barely Worth It
Review: With the character sheets for D&D3E, you are buying about 16 sheets of paper. There is a sheet for each class, all of which are highly useful. For example, the Fighter Character Sheet, has all the skills unavauable to Fighters removed from the Sheet. All the cross-class skills have a nice X through them, so you know what you have to pay more for. All the bonus feats you can get nicely listed on the back (Sadly no spaces for other feats are found). All in all good design. Another nice set of sheets are the spell sheets. Which are, in essence, the spell lists for every spell casting class. The spell lists are layed out with spells divided up into approprate level. Nice thing to have, so you don't have to make your own. Also are a character sheet that is just "standard" or not specialized for a class, a sheet for magic items carried, and a sheet for animal companions. The only problems iare the high price... So if you like making nice home-brewed sheets this is not useful. Also the barbarian sheet has a typo, saying they earn a D8 hit die (Really a D12). But I am lazy, and since all the sheets say you can photo-copy them, I will hopefully never have to make one of those homebrewed character sheets.

Summary: Not worth it...
Review: You need extra character sheets, and you can't get a clean copy from your PH? Thought this was the best alternative?

Well, MAYBE... but only if you and your gaming group go in together to buy one of these. It's pretty expensive for what it's worth.

The pro's of this set are:

** sheets are already loose, double-sided and ready to photocopy
** one of each character class is provided, as well as a blank
** you won't have to tear the original one out of your PH to get clean sheets

the con's of this are:

** one of each character class is provided, and these sheets do NOT allow for multiclassing, which seems to be the way to go these days
** the sheets are not a full 8 1/2 by 11, and I've had problems on more than one occasion with getting them copied at Kinkos or other such places, because the sides get mis-matched (or the copier grabs it wrong)
** Really expensive for what these are worth
** You only get one copy of each sheet. When it's gone, it's gone. There goes your money

If you're going to get these, get everyone together and contribute a buck or two. Otherwise, search the net for a PDF file of the character sheet and save yourself the money
