Summary: Great if its in a PDF format
Review: The character sheets are very well done. It even has sheets for your animal pets. But there is a big problem, the sheet is not in an A4 format. I had alot of problem in scanning it correcly. I'd rather it be a PDF file, just click'n print. WotC has done a good job on it though.

Summary: Wizards got the Sheets Right
Review: The character sheets for Dungeons & Dragons 3rd Edition are a boon to those of us who enjoy having neat, pre-printed forms to record our glorious adventures. And the best part is, you are free to photocopy them (for personal use).

The sheets are beautifully laid-out, one for each character class, a generic one for non-standard or dual-class characters, a form for companions, and checklists of spells available to each class.

No more hard-to-read sheets on filler paper, and no more fearing that Wizards of the Coast/TSR will be beating down your door because you took the sheets to Kinko's to have them copied.

Summary: Excellent, but over-priced
Review: The first thing you'll likely experience when you buy these sheets is sublime pleasure - the design is gorgeous, each class has its own customized sheet, and the pages are very well-designed, making it very easy for you to find the information you need quickly during play. The next thing you'll feel (about 5 minutes later) is profound disappointment. Considering the tremendous bargain Wizards of the Coast gave us in the Player's Handbook, why did they feel the need to rob us blind ($9.95? ) for a tiny ream of paper? With the *extremely* limited number of sheets, you will find yourself making frequent and immediate trips to your nearest scanner or photocopier (with WotC's blessing, of course). Considering the ease with which the sheets are printed, however, they could have easily given us 3 times as many sheets for the price.

Overall, however, I am extremely pleased with the new layout. The design flows logically, and allows you to quickly create a character; the sheets are made of a high-quality paper that erases easily (but woe unto you who must use photocopies!). With their comprehensive details, logical format, and impressive completeness, they actually remind me of the well-regarded Permanent Character Record Folder of days gone by (TSR, 1980-81).

My final verdict is a mixed one. If money is not an object, you will be thrilled with these high-quality records; they will save you time and quickly make themselves indispensable. But if you were expecting a bargain (logically, since the PHB is one, hands down), you may well want to hook up your printer and use the PHB CD-ROM character generator instead.

Summary: Save your money
Review: There are a couple of problems with these sheets. First, you are paying $10 for 15 sheets of paper. There is one sheet per character class, which means you'll be making lots of copies. Two, they are just too small. The information is crammed into these sheets, so prepare to write small. There are some better options. One, just photocopy the sheet that comes with the PHB. Two, use the character generator CD-ROM that comes with the PHB. Three, download one off the internet. Four, create your own sheets. All of these options are, for all intents and purposes, free. I found a much better sheet online that has a lot more room to write things, so I don't have to squint to see what I wrote. I will say that the layout of the sheets is actually good, but there just isn't space. I would recommend not getting these sheets.

Summary: Helpful but Unecessery
Review: These character sheets are great for everyone wanting to orginize his roleplaying. They contain a place to write pretty much everything you can write about a character, with a lot of room to spare as well. Although these are pretty much the best character sheets I've seen, I'm not sure a player writing his own sheets, wouldn't have done a good enough job as well. What I am saying is, if you have money to spare and are very disorginized, buy these.

Summary: Obsolete Product
Review: These class-specific character sheets used to be the fairly useful. However, changes in the 3.5 edition of the game make these sheets obsolete.

Summary: Not well thought out.
Review: These PC sheets have too much black in them, the boxes are too small, and better sheets can be found for free on the internet constructed by players who care. Too black, they don't copy well. I have found some excellent PC sheets out there w/ nice big boxes to write in and I 'save as' and then type my PC info in (anything that doesn't change) w/ page #s of where I can find the appropriate rule. They could have referened page #s on there sheets it would have helped all of us learning this new version.
