Summary: Kept me up past bedtime
Review: Weddle's rich and engtaging language, and his unique perspective on tinsletown, paint a marvelous portrai9t of the hallow myth that is Beverly Hills. By tracing their realestate transactions Weddles show us the emptyness of ego, the impermanence of momuments build to enshrine ego.

So much of what holds Americans enthralled, Weddle reveals in a stark, crips light. Fame is a bell without a clapper. There is never enough money to buy happiness, or security, or peace. This book is a social expose with a message America sorely needs today.

This book kept me up way past my bedtime. So much of it was horribly mesmerizing, like watching a car wreck, knowing good taste should compel one to look away, but being drawn none-the-less to look upon the carnage. Weddle is a master story teller akin to Tom Wolfe.
