Rating: Summary: Happy Times Review: I have just finsihed reading Those Wide Open Spaces and it is a great book. It is a book that the whole family will enjoy. It has been a long, long time since I went to those Saturday matinee movies in Philadelphia and watched by hero on the screen, Roy Rogers. This book brought back such wonderful memories that I had forgotten. The biographies about each star was very interesting with information that I had never known before. You will really enjoy this book and I recommend it for all ages. Looking forward to his next book.

Rating: Summary: Days of Yesteryear Review: Relive those wonderful "days of yesteryear" when the Saturday matinee was a dime and you saw 2 Westerns, a serial, cartoon, short subject and a newsreel. Those Wide Open Spaces is a joy to read. It is well organized with little known stories about our Western Heroes, their horses and above all, the women that played a major role in these films. A truly important work and a must for those of us who appeciated the positive influence that Hopalong Cassidy, Gene Autry, Roy Rogers and all the other movie cowboys had on our lives.
