Summary: A serious sex education book, though cheaply produced.
Review: 21 x 28 cm (approx A4 size), 48 pages. Black and white line drawings throughout, including cover. Staple binding. Contains 41 full-page line drawings of vulvas.The first thing that strikes me about this book is the lower quality printing and production of the book. Ok, it is designed (and priced) as a coloring-in book, but it's not a work of beauty. I think I would apprecitate the book having a better cover and binding, even if its contents are simply coloring-in pages. I guess the way it is makes it cheaper to buy multiple copies and ... color them in! The 41 pages of vulvas do not have any text on the page. There is a simple foreword and introduction in four languages at the start, plus one page showing the location of body parts within a vulva (again in four languages), but otherwise no text. To be honest, reading other people's comments about this book, I wonder whether they are talking about this book. "Offensive subtext"? Material of a "prurient nature"? A book of humor? Only in the sense that perhaps some people may not take a coloring in book of vulvas seriously. Anyway, this book is an interesting companion to Femalia, which contains actual photographs of vulvas. I'd rate this book higher if it were of higher quality.

Review: I truly admire the author's purpose in attempting to liberate women. Honestly, though, the illustrations are a terrible mishmash of illustrative techniques. At best they would be medical illustrations, but they are far too vague for that.

Review: Ladies, let's all get together and color til our hearts content! This is a wonderful book that I wouldn't hesitate giving to my daughter (if I had one, where's the stork??). I have two copies, one that is well-worn and another that I have kept in pristine gem-mint condition. This, to me, defines neo-feminism; a movement I couldn't be prouder to count myself a member of. It's a positive influence on all of us who are proud of what we posses "down there"!

Review: The author's main premise can almost stand on it's own feet, given a helping hand from distraction. And the conclusion is fine... as long as one is prepared to make a leap of faith to make a skydiver blush. Other than that, however, you're about to buy yourself a rather expensive coffee coaster. Perhaps Richelieu was right after all...
