Summary: From Montana
Review: A salesperson at Cornerstone Bookstore in Helena recommended this book for a friend of mine whose child was injusred last year. I read it first.
This is more than a book about a marvelous woman overcoming tragedy through her faith. It is so personal in all details, and her family support is wonderful and enviable for all, in all her relationships. Renee is Catholic, but denominationalism has nothing to do with it- Jesus Christ shines through in ALL of her story- His faithfulness to her, and her faithfulness to Him. Another current, up-to-date miracle story! Great reading, much to ponder.

Summary: Enjoyable biography from a wheelchair-bound woman
Review: Finished reading this enjoyable autobiography yesterday. As a woman who has never been confined to a wheelchair and who has no disabilities, I am in awe of Bondi's balanced attitude, practicality, and her admission that the lack of privacy a paraplegic endures is difficult.

The strong cable of love that helps Bondi survive and thrive is amazing. It makes life a little easier for her; maybe a lot easier. The cable of love is comprised of the author's former students, her husband, friends, clergy, immediate family, and extended family. The cable is anchored by Christ.

Summary: Touching
Review: I could not put this book down. It is such an inspiratinal story about someone whose life was just devestated by a terrible accident and how she overcame such physical problems to live a productive life. I cried and laughed through the whole book. It really touches your life and soul in how God has such a plan for us.

Summary: Disappointing
Review: I found the book to be rather shallow. Her life seems to be just too easy. Moreover, she's been so blessed that, of course, she can praise and thank God. I, too, am in a wheelchair. Among my peers, I've seen true struggling and difficult issues that people deal with. Yet, with God's help, I see many rise above their circumstances. Their stories are truly inspirational and attest to God's greatness. Bondi's story would have had far more impact and depth if she truly had overcome some of life's struggles.

Summary: Inspiration Biography
Review: Renee Bondi's courage and good humor prevailed after a heart-breaking accident that left her quadriplegic. Her faith in God and human kindness enabled me to address an uncomfortable situation in my life. Her book is truly inspiring.

Summary: Very Uplifting
Review: Renee Bondi's story of her daily stuggles is very uplifting. I am in a wheelchair full time. I have been since birth. I can not imagin how hard it must be on a person to go from being able to do anything they desire to having to depend on people 24/7 literly overnight. Even though I am paralized from the waist down, I could identify with Renee on some level. I laughed and cried through the whole book. I also have met Renee when she came to speak at my church in '96. She is as neat of a lady as she seems. I was thrilled to see my town mentioned in her book. I recomend this book to anybody
