Review: Ali said he was the best fighter of all time. Maybe. But there is no question in my mind that Frank Scoblete is the greatest gaming writer of all time and this new book by him is just more proof that he is the greatest in this field. Someone once said that true genius was recognizing the obvious about reality that no one had ever recognized before. Scoblete has done this. If you like to play craps, and have a modicum of intelligence, his insights and observations should be a revelation. Get this book before you place your next craps bet! If you read this book and don't find it to be a revolutionary way of thinking, you should never step foot in a casino ever again.

Summary: I Was a Critic, Now I Believe!
Review: I have always been critical of gambling authors who claim they have come up with "miracle methods" for beating casino games. But I also love to play craps and other games. My problem has been that up until I read this book I was a fool. I did play the conservative methods that most legitimate gambling authorities advocate. I made a pass line bet and two comes and I backed them with full odds. Still over the years I have been a heavy loser. But now Scoblete's book has made me a winner. I know this sounds like a trite testimonial. Well it is a testimonial! I have been playing his five-step method for the past five months on twice weekly trips to the casinos in AC and Connecticut and I am way ahead. I can see over this extended time period how his ideas are translated into reality at the tables. He knows what he is talking about. The only way to really beat craps is not with traditional methods. These are merely the "best" ways to bet. But to beat the game you have to hone in on what he calls "golden shooters." This is what I have been doing and it does work. The book, in addition to being the best craps book ever written in terms of strategies, is also one fun book to read as well. That is because Scoblete is a masterful writer. I loved his biography of the captain, the man who put him on to most of his ideas. It was a riveting story. Scoblete also allowed his critics to have their say but, truthfully, Scoblete demolishes the opposition for one simple reason: Just go to a casino twenty or thirty times and play his methods and you'll see that they work! If you play craps, this book should become your bible! Amen!

Summary: Not worth the effort...
Review: The only useful information on this book was the little written on the basics and how to maximize comps. The rest of the book is dedicated on identifying "hot shooters" and how to learn to control the dice in your favor. I will bet my money that the same percentage of people that make money using this system is the same percentage that will make money using common sense and good basic betting. The only money to be made from this book is in getting people to waste their money in buying it.

Review: Forever Craps is a well written, well reasoned description of the best possible way to approach the game of craps and come out ahead. The book is also a very entertaining book to read as Scoblete tells some interesting stories, espoecially about the Captain whose biography he gives in one of the most interesting sections I've read in any gambling book. This is a must read for craps players and may be the first book to really give a method for beating craps in the real world of casino play.

Review: It is hard to believe that any author can write about gambling and consistently come up with new and interesting things to discuss. But Scoblete is like no other gaming author in the world today. He stands alone as the best writer in this genre to ever live. Forever Craps is an amazing book. It is the eighth book of his that I have read. The "5 stepo method" that he discusses combines his 5-count ideas with the concept that many shooters can consciously or unconsciously slightly control the dice. This book is a masterpiece as some other reviewers have said. Scoblete is a treasure and I expect he has many more books in him.
