Summary: I Have Been Winning Over Prolonged Period With This Method
Review: It doesn't take an Albert Einstein to realize that a gambling system that can perform over a six month period in almost daily use has to have something going for it. I have been using this five-step method five days a week for six months and it works. Scoblete has definitely come up with something here for craps players who are looking for more than just fun. If you want the money, this is the one method that works.

Summary: This Book Made Me a Believer
Review: I was very skeptical of the claims made about this book by some of the reviewers. I know that craps is a negative expectation game where the house has the edge. But I am open minded and always looking for the possibility that I have overlooked something. Well, I read this book and I have played just as Scoblete suggested. I am convinced that he has found the first successful way to play craps in the long run. If you want a chance to win, you owe it to yourself to buy this book. An added treat is Scoblete's writing style, which is very fun to read.

Summary: The First Winning System for Craps
Review: This is the very first wqinning system that Ihave ever encountered for the game of craps. It relies not on making hedge bets or other wagers, but i focuses on the shooters themselves. It is a method to find and exploit possibly "good" shooters and as such it can turn the game from a slightly negative expectation into a slightly positive expectation. Scoblete has done a wonderful job in explaining his ideas and having tried them I can tell you they WORK! The book is a lso a lot of fun to read because Scoblete is just the best gambling writer there is!

Summary: Time to Rethink Craps
Review: I have always believed that there was no way to beat craps. You just had to make the best house-edge bets to keep their hold low over you and enjoy playing. However, Scoblete's book is an eye and a mind opener. His position is that craps can be beaten if certain shooters are slightly altering the game to favor the players.

To find these shooters Scoblete has developed his five-step approach. I have used it on my last 6 visits to Reno and Vegas and I have come away a 5 out of the 6 times. The one time I lost it was for very small amounts and the comps I got actually were worth much more than my loss.

Craps players who are stuck in the mold of thinking that the game can't be beaten or that there is no approach better than any other approach should read this book ASAP!

You will also find that it is a very enjoyable book to read. Scoblete is a great writer and he really can hold your interest, entertain and amuse you, and give you great information at the same time.

Summary: Intelligent Approach
Review: I have read many craps books but this one has the most intelligent approach I've every read. Scoblete divides the game into two major components, shooters and betting systems. He argues forcefully and I think correctly that to win at craps you must get more than your share of good shooters, defined as shooters that make you money. Otherwise the house edge will just grind you down. The second most important thing is to bet according to the type of shooter you're wagering on.

Scoblete's book gives excellent food for thought and especially for those of us who have tried every betting system on the planet. The fact is, as Scoblete says, the Golden shooters make you money, the others rarely do. To establish who has the potential to be a Golden shooter Scoblete utilizes the 5-Count and an analysis of the shooters consistency in setting and delivering the dice to the back wall. Only then, after the 5-Count is reached and after the shooter shows care and consistency, will you risk your money.

I have now played this system for several trips to Vegas and so far so good. It does take discipline as other reviewers have mentioned but if discipline is the difference between consistently winning and consistently losing then discipline I will have!

Summary: One of a Kind Book for Winners
Review: You can place craps books into three basic categories as far as I am concerned.

Category One: Books that are just about the math of the game in a theoretical sense and not about the actual playing of the game in the casinos. These books essentially say play the Pass w/odd and the Come w/odds and hope to get lucky.

Category Two: Books by gambling writers who think they have found the magic betting system, whether it be hedges or some other foolish thing, that will be able to overcome the math.

Category Three: Books that want to exploit a real-world situation that might exist in the game of craps.

Scoblete's "Forever Craps" is this third kind and it is brilliant. He shows a method for exploiting possibly good shooters that is nothing short of unique. I don't want to paraphrase his ideas for fear that i don't do them justice but crap players will win hundreds of times the cost of this book when they purchase it.

To say it is the greatest craps book ever written is to diminish its greatness. Scoblete is a genius!

Summary: The Intelligent Craps Player's Bible
Review: I have been using the Five-Step Advantage-Play Method of Frank Scoblete's for four months in the casinos. I go twice a week and I have found that while the method does take some discipline, the money you make is a welcome relief from all the losses I suffered over the years playing craps the traditional ways.

Scoblete's book goes into five major factors that can make you a winner over the casinos: the five count, golden shooters, rhythmic rolling, good bets and comps. If you follow Scoblete's advice you will only be betting on shooters that have the best chance to make you money. I especially liked Scoblete's detailed analysis of the five count which is reaaly the most original concept ever put forward in craps thinking. His golden shooter idea is also a must-read concept. If you utilize Scoblete's methods I think you will find that, like me, you are beginning to show a profit from your craps play.

Scoblete's book is not a dry, statistical book either. He has a complete biography of the captain of craps, the man who taught him his ideas. The Captain is a legend and the bio is just great to read. I also thoroughly enjoyed reading about Scoblete's "epic roll" at Binions Horseshoe. I felt I was there that's how well-written it was there.

I think if you are a serious craps player and you are looking for the book that could become your bible of craps, this will be the one. It is mine!

Summary: The Best Craps Book Ever!
Review: Frank Scoblete has written a powerful book. His five step advantage play method hones in on the only real way to beat craps and that is to find and exploit shooters who are slightly altering the math of the game. He goesinto detail about how to find such shooters. if you are looking for a quick fix, this is not the craps book for you. This book will appeal to intelligent craps players who have tried all the other systems and found them wanting.

The book is also a very enjoyable one to read as Scoblete sprinkles personal stories and anecdotes to highlight his ideas. This is a remarkable book but, as I said, it is not for everyone, just those of us who are tired of the same old losing baloney we have been getting for years from other gambling authors. if you are a serious craps player, I think you should make Scoblete's acquaintence.

Summary: not worth the money
Review: I bought this book and it is not helpful at all. If you want a book that is worth the money check out one of John Patrick's books about gambling.

Frank Scoblete fills this book with anecdotes and superstition and exaggerated claims of success. Although the anecdotes are mildly entertaining, most of the stories have absolutely nothing to do with how to win at craps. That was my goal when I bought the book.

Summary: Too much jabber. Where is the meat?
Review: Diappointing in regard to presentation and content. The section dealig with "the Dark Side" is pittifully inadequate and bare of any objective analysis. The back cover is heralding Frank Scoblete as "casino gaming's greatest author". "Forever Craps" does not seem to support such self-serving statement.
