Summary: Forever is the best
Review: I believe that Crapshooter 23 has made some fundamental errors in his November 5th review of Frank Scoblete's groundbreaking book, Forever Craps, and I'd like to give readers of these reviews my take on the book and on Mr. Scoblete. Crapshooter 23 snidely saying that relatives and friends have supplied all the reviews of the book is an insult based on nothing and designed to make the legion of Scoblete fans and readers appear to be non-existent. Since Scoblete's books are the bestsellers in their categories on Amazon.com, someone must be buying them, right? He can't have that many relatives can he? I surmise based on the evidence that the people who are buying his books are also reviewing his books. That's logical.

Since the very first premise of Crapshooter 23's review is so obviously flawed, it isn't surprising that the entire thrust of his review is also seriously flawed in my opinion.

Scoblete's methods of playing craps are not "ridiculous" but are quite logical and he offers evidence to support his contentions in Forever Craps, from players and from a mathematician who shows what type of control is necessary to change the game to a favorable one for players who are making low house-edge bets. I have been a fan of Scoblete, though I am not a relative or friend, since I read his first book, Beat the Craps Out of the Casinos, but I happen to think Forever Craps is his true masterpiece.

His five-step method combines the 5-Count, rhythmic rolling or controlled shooting, the Golden Shooter selection principle, which bets to make and when to make them, and how to get the most comps for the least action. The idea that some shooters, who through practice or experience, have some control over the dice, enough control to change a slightly negative game into a slightly positive game, is not only logical, it is based on physics. It is no more ridiculous than thinking that some people can hit a baseball that is travelling 95 miles per hour at them. Not everyone can do that but some people can. I have personally met Frank in Las Vegas when I attended a seminar where he was speaking and I got to witness his particular "throw" at a table. The roll he writes about in Forever Craps is very close to the roll I personally witnessed with my own eyes and made quite a bit of money on I might add. From what I can see, everything he writes about in his books, he actually does in a casino, which makes him head and shoulders above most of the writers who write gambling books.

In Forever Craps, Scoblete has the complete story of the Captain, the man from whom he learned his ideas. This section alone is worth the price of the book. He even has great don't-betting strategies.

From what I have read from his books, saw and heard in person when he spoke, Scoblete is not self-flattering, rather he's a great speaker, a great writer, and a great player, too. The wealth of good reviews and his status as the number one bestselling gambling writer in the country testifies to the fact that readers like what he has to say and, more important, have been helped by his methods.

Just as an aside, I want to let the readers know that I have been playing craps for 20 years and since 1992 I have been using the 5-Count. It works! Buy this book and I think you'll agree with me that Scoblete has a lot to offer.

Summary: Forever Craps
Review: It looks like all of Frank Scoblete's friends, neighbors and family members already offered up their reviews. Here's the truth: this book is ridiculous in its premise (that dice can be controlled) and flawed in its delivery. The chief character in the book is boring, self-flattering (Scoblete quotes a friend who has witnessed one of his good rolls: "Scobe came through like no one could come through"--please) and apparently suffers from severe paranoia. The only valuable insight offered by the book is a description of the extent to which casinos will try to alter the momentum of a hot shooter. This behavior is, of course, prompted by a similar bout of delirium on the part of the pit bosses, dealers, etc. that convinces them that they--too-can alter the results of the game. It's a game of luck, Frank. Pass along the message, and save some trees. It's not too late.

Summary: Do You Want to Win Money at Craps?
Review: Then I recommend you read this book. It shows you exactly how to utilize a rhythm roll to increase your chances of having an edge over the casino. It is the best craps book ever written, even better than Scoblete's first book.

Summary: This is one of the top 2 gambling titles I have ever read!
Review: This is the best craps book out there by far. I wanted to learn about the controlled throw for craps. So I bought Jerry Patterson's Casino Gambling Book and I also bought this book, Forever Craps by Frank Scoblete and Forever Craps is better when it comes to craps. This things covers the controlled throw better than any book or website or video tape that I have ever seen, read or heard. If ever are going to play craps sometime in your life time, buy this book before you go. Even if you are not going to play in a casino, just buy this book and read it anyway. It is really interesting in my opinion. I am truly glad that I spent the money on it.

Summary: Winah! Winah! Winah!
Review: That's what you'll be when you use the methods developed by Mr. Scoblete for playing craps. This book goes where no craps book has ever gone. Not to the stars but to the casinos' vaults. Happy money winning.

Summary: I Learned to Win
Review: This book is the best craps book I have ever read, even betetr than Scoblete's two other craps books which are also excellent. What sets this book apart is the fact that Scoblete shows how to utilize the 5-count with shooters, whom he calls "Golden Shooters," who might be controlling the dice and slightly altering the nature of the game. If you are a serious craps player, get this book. If you know a serious craps player, this will make a gift that keeps on giving.

Summary: Made me a believer...
Review: I've been to Vegas about a dozen times and played craps about 1/2 that much. I've NEVER won at craps until reading this book. Some people may say that the 5 count is boring or presetting the dice is a waste of time. After reading this book, the FIRST night there I had a roll for 45 MINUTES!!!. No lying, my wife witnessed it. My wife and I both made money that trip and I am going back in a few weeks. It may have been beginners luck, but in 3 sessions that trip, I only had about 100.00 to start with and I played all three sessions for about 3-4 hours each....and still came out on top. I had ups and downs, but mainly because I strayed a few times from the 5 count to see what would happen. I'm sticking with this strategy until I see otherwise! Thanks Mr. Scoblete! You and the Captains gang ROCK!

Summary: Excellent advanced strategy for craps
Review: Mr. Scoblete's no nonsenses approach to introducing an advantage play method for Craps is insightful and consistent with my own experience. He does an outstanding job of separating the math of craps from the less scientific craps' legends and myths. Everyone knows that the way to win at Craps is to find the hot roller and get your chips in action early and heavy. Mr. Scoblete gives the reader relevant advice and a few systematic approaches for accomplishing the seemingly impossible goal of betting with the hot rollers and avoiding the losing rolls. I have read his articles which led me to purchase this book - based on my experience reading it I will definitely purchase more of Mr. Scoblete's writings. This book is for advanced Craps players so you should order a prior book if you are interested in learning the Craps' basics. Thank you for reading this review.
