Scoblete carefully explores a "five-step" method that can give the player the edge over the game of craps. Hi method includes dice control, the 5 count, selecting golden shooters, making the best bets, and milking the comping system to come out with an advantage over the casinos. There is a detailed and insightful biography chapter about the Captain of craps that I found fascinating. There is even a discussion of darkside betting for those players who don't want to play the right side of the game. Craps players should get this book and read it a few times. There is a wealth of information you can use from it.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A Winning Method of Play Review: This book knocked me over. It contains in my opinion the only winning method of craps play, Scoblete's five-step method. You will learn the 5-Count, controlled shooting, how to pick golden shooters, proper betting and how to get more comps than ever before. The book also has a wonderful section on the greatest craps player who ever lived, the Captain. If you want to win at craps, get this book!

Review: Both new and seasoned players of craps can learn valuable principles to lengthen table play, maximize winnings, and minimize risk. This is not a book that teaches you the rules involved in playing craps; It assumes that the reader already has a the fundamentals of playing craps (what the pass line is, what a point number is, what are odds, etc.) This book focuses more on reducing the house edge by avoiding high-risk bets, cold shooters, and over-exposure. It also explains how to maximize "comps" (complimentaries) with very easy to understand recommendations. Frank writes clearly and with personality, explaining everything in a manner that came across with sincerity and authority. I started using his techniques and instantly benefited from his work. While there is no "sure thing," and you may never get rich playing craps, you will have longer playing time, more fun, and will probably win more often than you do now.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The best Craps Book of all time Review: I've read all the craps books in this Amazon catalogue that are available for sale and this is the best one. It has a workable method for beating the game and it is an enjoyable read. The "reviewer" from Gardnerville sounds like a competitor of Scoblete's since the review is a non-review, just a slam. Trust me, Frank Scoblete's five-setp method is the best way to approach the game of craps. It's based on math and science and the controlled throw.

Scoblete has excellent strategies from both the right and the wrong side of the game. His anecdotes, personal experiences and his bio of the Captain were fantastic! I recommend this book highly.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Usuable Strategies and Excellent Anecdotes Review: I think this is my favorite craps book that I ever read. The author, Frank Scoblete, not only understands the ins and outs of the game of craps like no other writer but he is a great writer as well. The strategies are clearly explained, backed up with math and common sense, and have the ring of experience to them. A definite must for anyone interested in beating the casinos.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great Book Review: I have read two of Frank Scobletes books in the past two weeks. This book and Guerilla Gambling. My favorite game is craps and I found that the strategies in this book were excellent. I also like this authors style. I am now going to read The Craps Underground which is a new book by him. I will post a review when I am finished. I got a chance to hear Frank Scoblete speak at Isleta casino in Albuquerque several weeks ago. He was great.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The next step up Review: I have been using the Captain's 5-Count since 1995 and it has served me well. That appeared in Scoblete's book Beat the Craps Out of the Casinos. Forever Craps takes the 5-Count and uses four other factors to determine who to be on. It also discusses how to develop your own rhythmic roll to increase the likelihood that you can overcome the house edge. Like all the Scoblete books I have read, this one is well written, intelligent and filled with good humor. The added attraction of this book is a full biography of the Captain of Craps, the great Atlantic City player who created the 5-Count and who started Scoblete thinking in terms of physically altering the game of craps based on controlling the dice. I recommend this book to anyone interested in the next step up for craps play. It all in here.
