Summary: Great Inside Information on Television's Greatest Sitcom!
Review: Did you know that there was ongoing tension between Bob Crane and Richard Dawson during the run of Hogan's Heroes? Did you know that the producers of Hogan's Heroes considered casting John Banner as Klink and Werner Klemperer as Sgt. Schultz (before finally switching the parts around)? Do you want to know which episode to watch if you want to see Banner and Klemperer actually switch roles? This tremendous book has all this and much more. It's a great investment if you have any interest at all in Hogan's Heroes.

Summary: An outstanding book on the classic TV show!
Review: Hogan's Heroes is my all-time favorite TV comedy show, not just because of the humor, but because of the interaction of the characters and the World War II setting. I can't think of one single episode throughout the entire course of the series that I don't like for one reason or another. It was well-written, well-acted and well-produced/directed, and deserved more than the few Emmys it received at the time. It's hard to say enough good things about this book, which to date has been the ONLY book on the series! Brenda Scott Royce, herself a long-time fan of the show, did a fantastic job. Just about everything most real fans of this classic and underappreciated TV series could want to find out is here. There are plot synopses of all the episodes of the series and original air dates, sections about each of the main characters/actors, and interesting related information. Only one area is lacking, a slight deficiency of photos. But the end result is still a treasure trove of information, thanks to the author's extensive research and interviews.

Summary: Astoundingly informative and superbly done!
Review: I am a huge Hogan's Heroes fan. I cannot believe how astoundinly informative and superbly done this book is! This book includes so many great pictures to enjoy as well. Every single page is full of great detail and information. I found this book thoroughly enjoyable. Once I began reading it, I could not put the book down. Anyone could benefit from the hours of nostalgic memories and hilarities which I experienced reading this book.

Summary: A fun read
Review: I had just begun to watch reruns of "Hogan's Heroes" when TVLand suddenly yanked it from their schedule, for whatever reason. I decided to read this book in order to see what I'd missed. I thought it was a really fun read, especially the biographies/filmographies of the cast members. It's very thorough (encompassing all the episodes, lots of interesting behind-the-scenes stuff, et cetera) and I imagine any fan of the show will enjoy reading it a lot.

Summary: Best Book Money Can Buy Without Making It Yourself
Review: In this book it answers all your questions. The answer to the infamous Stalag 13 vs. Stalag 17; answers to questions you've never even thought about before. A comprehensive episode guide even including highlights and endings. About the characters and much more. This book is the best for such a good price.

Summary: Schultz knows nothing, but Brenda Royce knows everything!
Review: In writing this fun, fact-filled companion book, author Brenda Scott Royce left no stone unturned. Based on interviews with cast members, guest stars, directors, and writers, this detailed book recounts the heroes' hilarious hijinks and also reveals the true stories of the actors who portrayed them.

Summary: Great book for Hogans Heroes fans
Review: Loved Brenda's book. It is a slightly revised version of her original HH's hardcover book. But comparing them both, this one has more information on the episodes. Otherwise much the same as the original. Well worth a read for dedicated HH's fans
