Rating: Summary: If you loved the movie, buy this book ! Review: If you've seen "Titanic" the movie, then you'll have to pick up this companion book. The making of the movie is the main focus of this beautiful book. The photographs are stupendous, and the text that describes the photographs is also well written. The book tells about the sets, the costumes, the cast and even more, including the history of the movie and James Cameron's voyage to view the Titanic wreckage. This book is beautiful to look at, and helps you to visualize the movie even after it has ended.

It is very informative about the Titanic itself and the movie. It tells you a lot about how the movie was made and all about the special effects used. If you liked the movie, you should really read the book.
Rating: Summary: One Of The Best Books Of All Times! Review: This book is one of the greatest of all time! It tells the secrets of how this thrilling movie was made from the staying room on the Keldysh, to Rose's Parlor Suite Room. It tells what the stars think of this unforgetable masterpiece and some of the adventures they had while filming. It is so exciting to hear some of the things that the cast got to do like dance in the third class party. Every time I read this book a get a shiver up my spine and somtimes even a tear rolls down my eye. If you are like me and wish you could watch the movie every single day, you should get this book because it's just as good as watching it. You feel like yo are on the Titanic with Jack an Rose when you read this book.
Rating: Summary: THE BEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: I absolutely loved all of this book. After getting both the soundtracks from the film, seeing it on numerous occasions, it is just keeping the magic with me until the video comes out. I go through the book all the time, I could listen to the music forever Its all just excellent!
Rating: Summary: VERY GOOD & INFORMATIVE Review: While i'm not a love story buff, I am a Titanic enthusiast. I saw the movie 4 times in the theater, and have already worn out my new tape set. I was totally amazed at the detail of the movie sets, which is my cup of tea. Then I bought the hardcover book, and was blown away ! I am an amatuer artist, and I cannot even imagine how James Cameron created this movie in such EXACT detail. The book helps us to see the effort it took to accomplish this. From the dining room chair makers, to the ORIGINAL rug manufacturers, to the plaster work surrounding the dome of the grand staircase!! Truely a work of art, and the book tells us of some of the craftsman who made it all real !
Rating: Summary: Interesting but a bit of a disappointment Review: Big movies tend to inspire big books on how a particilar film was made and "Titanic" is no exception. One only wishes the book had been a little richer in detail. As much as we learn about the production (a full scale Titanic was constructed, etc.) we're left with the impression that putting this film together was a massive undertaking but, overall, fairly routine. Absolutely no mention of the cost overruns, Paramount bailing Fox out at the last minute (and reaping all the rewards), ILM, Banned from the Ranch and other effects houses completing key FX work or James Cameron's fierce temper and its effect on the cast and crew around him. But, after all, this book is titled "James Cameron's Titanic" so readers really shouldn't expect more than a valentine to the director for his efforts on this film. You'll learn a thing or two but in the end you'll discover that it's a little empty and a bit of a disappointment.
Rating: Summary: Extraordinary calendar with great pictures from the movie. Review: When I heard there will be a calendar from the movie Titanic I was so happy. I couldn't wait to buy it. There are interesting facts about the real ship Titanic and important dates such as the launching of the Titanic, Thomas Andrews' birthday, as well as the sinking of the great ocean liner. Every Titanic fan and enthusiast must definetely have this calendar. It's worth it!
Rating: Summary: This will never sink! Review: I could've chucked all those old Titanic books and documents away and just read the book. (Which I did!)
Rating: Summary: Dissapointing Review: Boring! This book was a huge dissapointment. The storyline sucked too. The movie's way better.
