Rating: Summary: Strings of the heart finally pulled to open pure compassion. Review: This event of Rose and Jack allows people to explore the suffering that the people on the Titanic had to endure on that cold April morning. Many people may, perhaps, be uninformed about the devastation that happened on April 14, 1912. If that is yourself, go see the movie and then purchase this book. The way the emotions carry into your heart are the most moving and touching experiences I have ever undergone. This story conveys the true message of loss, despair, and excruciating pain, all summed up in one large ship, The Titanic....
Rating: Summary: This masterpiece film is the the best movie of the century. Review: This was the most amazing movie I have ever seen. I truly do not know how to put my feelings about it into words. I have seen it six times and am ready for more. Every time I see the film I feel as thuogh I am trapped in Jack and Rose's passionate romance and when the film ends I do not want to leave. No movie could EVER compair to this fantasitc work of art. James Cameron truly brings the legacy of Titanic alive for people of the twentieth century to expierience first hand. From the music to the make-up, to the acting there is not a single flaw. Every person should turn of their computer and go see this spectacular film !
Rating: Summary: An extraordinary virtuoso performance! Review: One of the greatest movie ever made. It will make you laugh, make you cry, then leave you gasping for breath, and will haunt you for a long time. Cameron staked his career on this movie, and he will be long remembered for his incredible genius and faith. See the movie and then buy the book.
Rating: Summary: Good movie, Great book!!!! Review: The book, James Cameron's Titanic, was good. I recently saw the movie and the director's book only helped to enhance my appreciation for the movie. It is not a great movie, in my opinion, but it is a highly watchable and fascinating film. The mastery of the special effects used by Cameron to re-create the "Titanic" is evident in all of the scenes featuring the large cruiser. I recommend the movie to all, but I strongly encourage all readers to purchase the book "Titanic". Simply fabulous and worth a read!!!!
Rating: Summary: Titanic is an inspiration to all!!!! Review: This book has inspired me to learn as much as I can about this disaster. Seeing the movie and reading this book allowed me to feel the fear that the victims of iceburg must have been experiencing. The book allows the reader to realize the talent and hard work that is required to make a movie. James Cameron is a master at what he does, and has given humanity a movie worth remembering.
Rating: Summary: A fantasic movie!!!!! Review: Titanic is one of the best if not the best movie I have ever seen. Will watching this movie you feel like you are actually aboard the ill-fated ship. The way the ship looks in the movie is amazing!!! It looks so bueatiful, magnificent, and real. The costumes and the details are gorgeous and very well researched. And the story is great. I love the ending of the movie!!!!! I for one would like to have this book in my own library!!!!! This movie should diffentily win an oscar for best movie, and should win for alot of other things too!!!!
Rating: Summary: AMAZING MOVIE!! Review: This movie is the best that I've ever seen! As far as I'm concerned, it should win Best Picture at the Academy Awards. I just saw it today, and I'm ready to go back and see it again! This book would be a wonderful keep-sake.
Rating: Summary: The perfect holiday gift for you or a fellow Titanic fanatic Review: For anyone wanting a souvenir of the upcoming film "Titanic" or wanting to know how the movie was made, this is a lavish, beginning-to-end coffee-table book without the coffee table book price(paperback ed.). The reader gets to see the sheer hard work Cameron and company put in to get the history right, sometimes from too much information and conflicting stories to too little of either. Tons of color photos worth thousands of words evoke the tone of the movie. The evolution of computer-involvement in the making of this film, is especially interesting, not only in the special effects, but how Cameron and company used computers to answer some questions about the sinking of the Titanic.
Rating: Summary: Titanic Sails Into History Again Review: This book documenting the making of James Cameron's Titanic is one of the best I've ever seen on the seemingly magic craft of movie making. I enjoyed this book particularly for its behind-the-scene photographs and its narrative, which explains the technology they used in terms a layman can understand. Rather than betray the illusion, it supports it in a way that makes you appreciate the film so much more. A must for film afficianados and Titanic buffs alike.
Rating: Summary: James Cameron's TITANIC bridges imagination and reality. Review: The book, written by Ed W. Marsh, contains enough photographs, interviews, and behind-the-scenes information that will capitalize Mr. Cameron's passion for making a film. Sure, the film itself will be the most detailed and realistic creation on the Titanic. But one wonders how such a feat is accomplished without building a time machine and going back to the moment and filming it. This book answers those questions in addition to remind the reader that the crew and cast is just as arduous and passionate
