Rating: Summary: BEST MOVIE EVER! Review: I saw the movie twice, and I loved it both times! The first time I went with my sister and I really didn't cry that much, but the second time I went, I went with my friend and we balled our heads off! It's absolutely the best movie I've ever seen! It made you fall in love with Leonardo's charactor, well at least I did..I just baught the book, and when the movie comes out on video, I'm surely going to buy it! I want to thank James Cameron for making the movie, and for picking the best cast ever! I loved Leonardo's performance, he was great, and so was Kate Winslet! I'm hoping that for my birthday(on Feb 6) I will get the TITANIC soundtrack! I can't get enough of this movie! It's TERRIFIC!!
Rating: Summary: If you have that book, trade for me please..... Review: Friend, If you've already bought and read this book, will you trade with me. I am willing to pay at any price because .... I really want to buy the book before Valentine's day. I have a girlfriend in Hong Kong. And i live in Toronto. We saw the movie in Hong Kong last X'mas. And she said to me on the phone that she wanted to buy this book but sold out. I was trying to find, but again sold out in all bookstores in Toronto. So friend if you have one, i'd appreciate for your consideration to trade with me. I love her, so please help me to fulfill her. Please send a mail to me ASAP, thanks. Best wishes, Joe
Rating: Summary: Best movie&book ever!!!!! Review: Before the movie came out I thought it would just be a sappy love story but when it came out I was amazed! The book an d the movie are both fantanstic and interesting this Is the best movie and one of the best books I have ever read. The book takes you thought the whole Titanic story and How the movie was made. this is a must have if you are even remotly interested in the Titanic, books and movies in general.
Rating: Summary: I was touched at heart ! Review: I did not expect too much before seeing the film because I haven't known much about Titanic except Leo.I was too impressed and touched deeply at heart not only by the love story but what exactly happened that night on the Titanic. The filmed did arouse me to search for more information and books about Titanic.I have seen the movie twice and I am going to see it thrice.Imagine you was one of the passengers on the Tatanic no matter belonging to the first-class or the steerage, most of them had inevitably to face the death. It was shock and scared me.In Hong Kong, it's been such a long long time to have a great movie like this. Hope Mr. Cameron in every big sucess and thank all the great people paid much effort in this film. Would Mr. Cameron consider to add "the making of the film" in the LD later? I want more than the film itself.
Rating: Summary: A PERFECT COMPANION TO A PERFECT MOVIE Review: James Cameron's Titanic is an excellent book, it's better than most 'behind-the-scenes' books because it goes in order of the movie, which is like watching it all over again. The Pictures are great as is the inside story. This is a four star book.
Rating: Summary: I really want this book! Review: The movie is breathtaking and now I want to read the book. It has been impossible to get. Does anyone know when we can expect it back on shelves? Also, is there or is there going to be, a book of the movie itself (you know, a printed version of the movie's story, many major motion pictures release one)?
Rating: Summary: Titanic: One Heck Of A Movie, And A Great Book, Too! Review: When I went to see Titanic for the first time (not the last time, either), I was packed in a theatre with no arm room at all. I had to sit by this kid who would not stop talking to his dad about every single detail in the movie. That did not take away from the movie at all. It is definately the best movie I have seen. (And no, it is not just because Leonardo DiCaprio is in it.) I was watching the Today show and the review that it gave Titanic was disappointing. The man complained that it was three hours long. I think (and this is just my opinion) that if someone spends $200 mil + on a movie, they should be able have three hours of movie! Besides, the tickets cost the same as those cheesy movies that are about and hour and a half long. One last thing that I must compliment on, is James Horner, Will Jannings, and Celine Dion's song: My Heart Will Go On. It is my favorite song mostly because it is an emotional song. (And let's face it, there aren't many emotional songs around any more) The actors/actresses just added to the movie, but what made the movie were all the details and a wonderful script.
Rating: Summary: Slightly Overblown Review: A Night to Remember was a superior book and film. This, however, is fairly well done although deeply flawed.
Rating: Summary: I loved it!!! Review: there is no doubt in my mind this must be the best movie I've ever seen. The way it sucked you right in and made you feel like a part titanic simply took my breath away. Never have I seen a story so sad, dramatic and loving all at he same time. I cannot deskribe it just go see it for yourself!
Rating: Summary: Wish I can give 1 million Review: Initially, I didn't wanna pay more money to make you publishers richer just because I love Leo more than life itself. But, after reading all these reviews about how great the book is (plus all those nice dreams I keep getting about Leo and me in the Titanic... cept that I saved him in the end), I'm gonna go and march to nearest English bookshop and demand this book pronto!!! Love, you James Cameron, for the best movie ever... Malya
