Summary: BOOK UNWORTHY OF THE BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME
Review: I consider Titanic,a heartwrenching, enoyable romance, to be the finest movie produced by man up until now. However, what made the movie so touching is its realism and how youf eel connected to the sinking, and the brief madien voyage. THis book has a disturbing objective view point, and it spends more time discussing how they got the bodies to look like they werehitting the propellers than on the tragedy and sweeping romantism of the tale itself.

Summary: Making It Count
Review: My current boyfriend and I went out on our first date on Valentine's Day, and got along so well he asked me to see Titanic with him the next day. He had seen it already, but I hadn't. Titanic has to be about the best movie I have ever seen in my life. Even after having researched the wreck, and seen numerous specials about the making of the film, I still was completely taken aback with the story of Jack and Rose and the horrible loss of life as the minutes turned to hours as the ship sank, and the lifeboats sat idle as passengers froze in the icy waters. This film seemed to fill my every waking thought for the next 48 hours after I saw it. I am astounded at how many reviews here have mentioned the relationship between Jack and Rose. It is hard to believe that they never really existed. James Cameron mentions in the liner notes to the Titanic soundtrack, "...he (James Horner) has made us one with Jack and Rose, feeling the beat of their hearts as they experience the kind of love we all dream about, but seldom find." Titanic was what made my relationship happen. If this wonderful film had never been made, we probably would've never found each other. I am not here to rub it in, but as one who has taken her share of abuse in relationships, I can swear to anyone that it can happen to you if you have faith. Don't ever give up. The concept of an unsinkable ship is pretty far fetched, but the concept of a love based on trust and commitment is no fairy tale. I wanted to share my story so other people could know that magic does and can happen to just about anyone. Please e-mail me to discuss any and all elements of this film. The moral of my story is that Jack and Rose don't just exist on the big screen, this kind of relationship can happen to any of us. It's happening to me now.

Review: Before I saw the movie, I didn't actually know very much about Titanic but now I can't get enough of it. The movie is the most amazing and astounding that I have ever seen and it will no doubt be the most touching movies for years to come, well as far as I'm concerned it will be. Oh and Leonardo isn't to bad either!!!

Summary: Best read since Craig Furnas's THE SHAPE
Review: The movie TITANIC, and then this book, are the beststory-telling experiences I've had since reading Craig Furnas's THESHAPE. (THE SHAPE is also available on Amazon.com). It's a great read, I promise you!!! Up there with the Titanic. And If they turn the book THE SHAPE into a movie, I hope Leonardo Dicaprio plays the lead!!!

Summary: Try it, you'll like it.
Review: I've had interest in Titanic for years; now everyone does. What intriges me most about this one, is the detail for authenticity down to the resemblence of the actors to the actual persons on board. The attention to detail makes this much more that a book/movie; its a true memorial.
