I was not disappointed; I've reread it two or three times already and am continually delighted. If you are an "OZ" fan in the *slightest*, you cannot let this one go unread!

Review: This book should be updated and re-released. Great history of Hollywood underground, which makes you wish you could have gone on the MGM backlot and looked for costumes and props, too! My only question: what happened to Dorothy's basket?

Review: This is a very entertaining book, which not only discusses a bit of Oz movie history, but shows a look at the Hollywood of yore. It covers, with fascinating detail, each pair of slippers and where they are and how they were discovered, along with the fakes and frauds found along on the road to their discovery. For any fan of the film and its contents, this is must reading.
