Summary: Inspiring and for the most part insightful
Review: Jewel Kilcher is a terrific musician and for the most part, her poetry is great. At times the poems find themselves repeatitive and bland (mostly the love poems) but the majority are insightful and terrificly written. She is condemed for being a celebrity that just happens to write good...some people can't handle this.

Summary: Songs or Poetry? Which one should she choose?
Review: Most definitely songs. Indeed I enjoyed her book. But, I think that singing is her main game and she should stick to that and that alone. To most people, this book was enjoyed by them. Whether it was because they enjoyed her writing or it was because they were laughing the entire time while they were reading it. Either way, they somehow enjoyed it. So don't be harsh, give her some credit.

Review: A poetry collection so raw and emotional,and yet true to the to very last beat of our heart. Jewel speaks life through these words.Jewel focuses on showing us, the world, how to survive in pernicious times, caustic and acrid, burn into our hearts in the end it is Jewel who will save us with her poetry and with her music. Jewel if you ever get to read this review let me say, we are absorbing what you say, we get it. The book is the fuel now release the flame!!!!!READ THIS BOOK PEOPLE!!!!We waste to much flesh on survival, stop it!!!

Summary: Too much sap -- I had to barf
Review: Oh gross!! This stuff is syrupy and sweet and cliche and dull. I find Hallmark Cards more interesting. While Jewel is sugar coating everything and simplifying life to cliches and greeting card sentimentality, I'll go buy some Auden and read a real poet.

Review: What can I say, I love Jewel and her poetry. She's a role model for the world. Her writing is not always pleasant, nor is her behavior, but she's honest. She's like your best friend. The one who honestly tells you what she thinks of this shirt with those pants or how you look with purple hair, or why this guy is wrong for you, etc. She's Jewel and she's not afraid to show the world that she's not going to change for anyone. And the world respects her for that. Why wouldn't I love her? Hehe.

Review: This book once again proved Jewls amazing talent as an artist. It shows that she is not some flunky like Brittney Spears. Damn! This girls got talent. I'm telling you. This book is so touching. It really shows what Jewl has gone through in her life. Every poem is so deep. You feel as if yuo know her. I would definetly reccomend this book to everyone. Do YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND BUY IT!!!!!!!!
