Summary: Two thumbs up, ten toes, and a knee
Review: I think that this book not only deserves five stars, it also deserves two thumbs up, ten toes, one knee, and an elbow. It was that good.

Summary: This book of poetry was the best, and very inspirational.
Review: Jewel is a very talented woman. In her book of poetrty she shows part of her life, as well as other peoples. She has very meaningful poems that can relate to many woman, and then again only relate to a few. I absolutely idalize Jewel for everything she is, was, and will be. Read this, and you will understand what I mean!

Summary: jewel is a fantastic artist...and the book is inspiring...
Review: i found the beauty and realism of this book to be capturing. Normally i am not a heavy reader but this collection of poetic works drew me in so that the moment i put it down i had already finished it. it was magnificent!

Summary: Hard to actually READ
Review: I'm glad I only borrowed this from my friend, because I wanted to see what kind of poems Jewel writes, b/c I write poems too. I saw it's really awful. It was so hard to actually read but I forced myself and I don't know why, b/c I wanted to quit after a few. Bad poetry.

Summary: Jewel: Inspiration of my soul, keeps it burning with passion
Review: Her first book was amazingly deep. It shows that someone with a not-so-great background, can sometimes have the most interesting perspective on life. It has especially helped me to start writing poetry.

Summary: A Night without Armor= A Poet without Talent
Review: This is the worst poetry ever written. If I ever wrote anything this bad, I'd burn it and bury the ashes in the backyard. I don't blame Jewel, she's obviously an idiot and can't be held accountable for a disaster of this magnitude. I blame the people who published this trite, hackneyed piece of garbage. And where does she get off becoming the spokesperson for National Poetry Month ? Visibilty doesn't equal respectabilty. I guess popularity is the hallmark of mediocrity.-

Summary: Some poems were better than others.
Review: Well, some of them were excellent, but others were just awful. I have found some things in there that should not even be considered poetry, such as a poem that was two lines long. I found others that vere very poetic and heartfelt, and I reccomend reading this collection of poems.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Good work, awesome heart!
Review: Jewel's work as a singer/songwriter astounded me. Simply put, this book of poetry had me enthralled. The heart behind each of the poems is so real and sincere. I didn't want to put it down.

Summary: This book of poems is amazing
Review: This bood is amazing, I have to admit that I probably would not have bought it if it hadn't been written by her, but I was shocked she can write songs and poetry...some may not understand her writing and therefor may not like it...but for those of us that do, we realize the talent that this girl has. I would recomend this book to any one...but try not to be to judgemental at first...try getting into her music first then the poetry

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Expectations met
Review: I wouldn't of expected anything less from Jewel. Her cryptic, subdudeing poetry is as solid as her music
