Review: This is the first Barry book I've read, and it's still my favorite. There was something that made me laugh out loud on almost every page. I read it in a day because I couldn't put it down. More importantly, the book was still funny the second time I read it. That is not something I've experienced often in a humor book. Barry's writing has so much depth that you can miss some of the jokes the first time. The section on government truly is outdated, as mentioned. But that doesn't take away from the overall quality of the book. I may have to borrow it from the friend I gave it to the last time I gave away some books to make room on my bookshelf!!
