Rating: Summary: Hi Mom Review: I have burned all my other books just to make room for this one on the shelf. Hey wait, it's not as big as I thought, I didn't have to burn all my books? doooooo
Rating: Summary: I can't think of a reason not to buy it. Review: This book is a must for anyone who believes that it only rains when you don't have an umbrella, that bungee-jumping is as safe as being catapulted to Mars, and an offering of gum or candy always means someone thinks your breath reeks. Perhaps that's a bit extreme. Actually, "I Hate This Place" is a choice book for someone, like myself, who enjoys trading cynical barbs with a younger brother. I purchased this book Wednesday morning in South Station, after waiting in line at 2 broken ATM machines. It was worth the hassle. Reading "I Hate This Place" propelled my lazy self to go to a Boston bookstore to hear the wicked cool authors speak. Support young writers! Buy copies for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Bah-Humbug Christmas presents.
Rating: Summary: Very funny! Review: A great book that's just what the world needs right now b/c of all the super-sappy feel good books out there! Jimmy and Gloria are very nice, I met them in Boston last night. You should get this as a nice gift for someone.
Rating: Summary: Pretty funny stuff. Review: Yeah this book is funny. But that's not why I'm typing this....Jimmy Fallon is one of SNL's best impersonating cast members of all time. He's in the top five with Dana Carvey, Phil Hartman, Darrell Hammond, and Anthony Mike Hall.
Rating: Summary: Pessimism personified! Review: Fun and cute, clever and ironic, and ALWAYS pessimistic, "I Hate This Place" dares to reveal the dark side that lurks within all of us. The Pessimist doesn't care if you've ruined dinner or forgotten your umbrella in the downpour of the century, so long as he can tell you about his even WORSE day. Jimmy and Gloria Fallon have taken a humorously fresh approach to the conventions of the self-help genre and created a quick read that any person alive on this planet can relate to. Go on, be a pessimist!
Rating: Summary: I Can't Wait, Jimmy is Hilarious! Review: I don't have this book yet, but I will Soon get it. I hven't read a book for fun since i was 9, so I am gonna start back with this one. Jimmy is so funny. Get Conan O's book too!
Rating: Summary: WHY TO KAY Review: I'm buying this book when it becomes available and you should too!! Jimmy's the best talent SNL has had since Mike Meyers. "Oh Cheers."
Rating: Summary: 5 Stars Review: I read an advanced copy of this book. I know Gloria Fallon and she is one the funniest people that I've ever met. It is no surprise to me that she came out with this book, and I'm already looking forward to her next one.
Rating: Summary: If you are a pessimist, buy this book. Review: This book is pretty funny. I know Jimmy Fallon because he has done impressions of me on SNL.
Rating: Summary: It was a very funny book by Jimmy Fallon Review: I finished reading the book yesterday. I got it ahead of time because Jimmy Fallon is my uncle. I thought it was very appropropriate and funny. I hope he keeps writting books. And as his consultant I think this book will help boost his career.
