Review: Not funny and I so wanted to laugh. A waste of money as just a so-called pessimistic slant on self help books. Should have been a lot better in order to reach the stage of publishing and book tour, but I guess those who actually enjoy Chicken Soup and so on might be daft enough to find this type of humor funny. Must be Jay Leno devotees. Would give this away as stocking stuffer, but embarrassed to as not representative of me or anything I find amusing.

Review: This is a great book- many laughs will be had by all readers! I thought I'd post a review here on the Amazon site because Jimmy said at the Los Angeles book signing how he thought it was a great way to get feedback on the book. So, Jimmy- I enjoyed your book immensely! However, I am kicking myself for not coming up to meet you and have you sign my book. I was in the second to last row and I know you saw me. Anyway, I just got too scared to meet you and I left. But, if you come back to LA soon, I'll be sure to not run away this time! Congrats on your book and your success!!!

Review: As I read this book, I was saying to myself, 'Oh my God, I can totally relate to this stuff!'. (Why did I waste my money on those STUPID find-your-inner-self-and-five-seconds-later-still-be-miserable books? WHY? ). Jimmy and Gloria have given the most perfect guide to life for those who know that life is not always what it's cracked up to be. To all the pessimists ;and those born in the '70s, educated in the '80s (and the early '90s) , and living life like it REALLY is in the late '90s, out there, YOU MUST BUY THIS BOOK!

Review: Have you ever thought, "Why try thinking positive, nothing works anyway?" then you'll like this book. And if you like this, you'll probably be pessimistic enough to also enjoy my favorite, "1401 More Things That P*ss Me Off," and its peevish sequels. Pessimists unite!

Summary: Jimmy Fallon did something funny today!!
Review: James Fallon did something remarkable today.He published a book, even from someone who works on Saturday Night Live, or as I like to call it since 1994, Saturday Night Dead. I was very shocked to find myself relating to his view points and to find that humor does run in his family! The idea James and Gloria came up with, is one containing creative ideas in a recipe for comical genius! I loved the book and highly recommend it!

Review: I Hate This Place is a great book--funny and very clever. It includes all those things we (well, most of us) often think of but can never actually put into words (especially not this witty). I've often thought of myself as an optimist but after reading this book, I have to say that I'm probably not. Jimmy and Gloria Fallon (whom I got to meet at a book signing--very cool) are two ingenious and unique people who aren't afraid to tell it like it is. Highly recommended!
