Review: I found out that I was getting a cello for Christmas and immediately began looking for reading material about care and maintenance tips when I found this book. The book is short, but packed with great information for someone not used to taking care of such a large, fragile object and how to keep it in top condition. There is also helpful information on what to look for in purchasing a new or used cello, as well as a general history. In all, I feel more prepared for when I take the cello out of the case for the first time, and what to look for when and if problems arise.
