Summary: Congradulations Anne Hoppus! A fantastic blink book!
Review: I remember sitting in university art class with Anne Hoppus one day , and she remarked that she would like to be a writer. Now i believe her. Having been a fan of blink for many years, I found that Anne's book was touching and brought back wonderful memories of all the early shows and observing the band on the sidelines go through a tremendous rise to stardom.

The pictures are fantastic, a few of which I believe have never left the Hoppus bedroom archives. However, as with any band biography, some information is incorrect. There is no mention of the Short Bus 7", for example. Also, Scott's leaving the band is handled rather blandly, with no mention of alcohol, fights with Jordan or the infamous incident at the Hotel Coronado that left Scott's heels broken.

I highly recommend the book to any fan of blink. If you are a more recent admirer, it will be interesting for you to see the band's long history on the local scene in San Diego. But if you've been around awhile, and remember blink in the dungeon at Soma or the sidestage definately buy it! You might catch yourself in one of the many audience pictures.

Congradulations Anne!

Summary: buy this book
Review: If you like the band then youll like this book. Before I bought it I was reading it at a Barnes and Noble while I was suppose to be studying and I couldnt help but laugh out loud which pissed off a few people. Reading this will make your laugh and brighten your day just like the guys in the band. This book tells how the guys got together and some of the crazy stuff they went through.

Summary: awesome book for fans of blink!!
Review: Tales from beneath your mom is a great! I have been a fan of blink since last summer when a few of my friends brought along some of there cd's to summer camp. Awesome photo's and cool facts almost feels like you know the band personally. Just my other favorite band green day i wish i would of been born in the early 80's or early 70's so i could follow those two bands throughout there journey's to the top. blink 182 is more popular then green day but who cares? they are both talented bands in there only little ways! one piece of advice: go buy this book now ! you won't regret it!

Summary: I Luv Travis from Blink 182
Review: Tales From Beneath Your Mom is an autobiography by Anne Hoppus, Mark's sister. Mark is one of the members from Blink 182. This book tells how the band got together and all they had to do to achieve their dreams. It all started nout when Anne was going to use a payphone and Tom was phrank calling someone to make himself laugh. She really admired that, and they became friends. Then one night she introduced Tom and Mark and they became best buds. They both played the electric guitard and decided to make their own band; all they needed was a drummer. From then on they did their best to be known. All that hard work payed off at the end.

Summary: Blink Book Review
Review: The book Blink 182 Tales From Beneath Your Mom is a great book to read if you are a true blink 182 fan, and if you want to know more about them. The book is written by Anne Hoppus, the sister of the bassist Mark Hoppus. The biography starts out by how the band got started and how they have changed over time. I really did like this book because I am a huge blink 182 fan. I listen to their music all the time and I have wondered many things about them sense I have liked them. Some of these questions might be like, when did they get started, how did they get to know each other, why did they want to start a band, and has many ever quit or got kicked out of them band before I started to like them. If you have had any of the same questions that I have had, then this is the book for you to read to get to know them for then you do. I also liked this book, and why I would tell any of you to get it, is because in the book they have great hummer, which helps tell the personality of the band, and it also helps get by the point that this band isn't one of those serious bands, but they like to have fun. This would also be a great book for someone to read even of they aren't a blink fan and they just want to read about them to see if what they play is what they like. By the time I was done reading this book I knew everything that I ever wanted to know about blink, and a little more. So, if your some one that loves blink 182 and wants to know more about them then this book is for sure one that you would want to read.
