Summary: THANCYOO MR PLASS
Review: I simply adore this book! I can't imagine not having readit. Gerald Plass is my dream date; I'm not kidding. It is completelyimpossible not to smile while reading Plass's works. I strongly suggest that you read his other works, such as The Horizontal Epistles of Andromeda Veal, the Theatrical Tapes of Leanord Thynn (even if it doesn't explain the cat...) and the second sacred Diary, I believe it's 41 3/4. I'm not sure. But read it. I just really think it's sort of grand!

Summary: Roll on the floor, Cry your eyes out funny
Review: I've read this book about three or four times now and I can safely say that it is the absolute funniest piece of Church humour I've ever read.

Scratch that. This is THE funniest book I've ever read. The first time I read it, I was rolling on the floor and crying. My wife and I will still sometimes just pick it up and start reading bits from it to each other for a few minutes of hilarity.

I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Your enjoyment will be greatly increased if you've spent time attending an evangelical church. It also helps to know that the book was written by a Brit and includes a number of references to people and practices that may be lost on those not from the UK.

Buy this book. It may not change your life but it'll be sure to give you a much needed break from your read through Calvin's "Institutes".

Summary: ANOTHER HONEST BLAST AT RELIGION
Review: Plass has done it again! He takes the ordinary things we religious people do and puts them under the microscope of reality. As we see ourselves as we really are we have to laugh, cry and realize that Jesus really is nice and he likes us IN SPITE OF THE SILLY THINGS WE DO. This diary shows us a more mature, thoughtful diary writer than before. All the family and friends are there, and I had a definite feeling that my knowledge of them was growing deeper.

Don't be afraid to read this if you are a Christian. It doesn't make fun of Jesus, but of us. This is something that we are certainly deserving of, and Plass delivers a healthy dose of humourous-medicine that challenges our status quo and invites us to run giggling into the arms of the One who loves us so much He'd rather die than live without us!

Summary: Suprisingly Funny!
Review: This book is very easy to read. I finished it in two afternoons.
I can't remember the last book I read that made me laugh so hard. This is really, really funny! Regardless of your denomination or doctrine, I think anyone would really enjoy this book.

Summary: AMAZING!
Review: well i have read this book soo many times - and no matter how many times i read it, it still continues to have me in stitches of laughter imagining Adrian doing such hilarious things e.g. trying to order a paper clip to move, and him making sure that there isn't anything wrong with him before he goes to a 'healing' meeting! And the continous anagrams that Gerald his son comes up with are great! If you are a christian and have not read this book - you are missing out big time!
