Rating: Summary: funny, honest and a true eye opener Review: I read the book in the bookstore one night. The title caught my eye and I became curious of the contents so I figured "why not?". Well, I haven't laughed that hard in so long and even a friend that was with me that night got a chuckle. Ladies..read and pass on to your daughters! These guys are being honest!
Rating: Summary: Extraordinary expose! Review: A hardy and heartfelt THANK YOU for revealing the truth about men. I always got confused in relationships...and hurt and gave up altogether about even trying anymore. Maybe this will help!
Rating: Summary: This book will save my relationship Review: At first I was skeptical about this book. I've read all the others, John Gray, Laura Schlesinger and the rest. To my surprise, this book said all the things I know in my heart to be true about men and women. I was afraid at first to discuss it with my husband, because I didn't want to make him angry or defensive. So I just gave it to him and asked him to read it. It was like magic. All the things I had thought about and was afraid to ask were now up for discussion. I felt like someone had shined a bright light on the dark corners of our relationship. We talked about his secretary, who I have had dreams about his falling in love with. She is young and attractive and I used to think if I didn't ever say anything all my fears would go away. But reading Smith and Doe gave me a way to bring up the subject with my husband and now that we have discussed it I feel like I am not out alone on a limb anymore. I really want to say that Smith and Doe have done a great service to men and women in COMMITTED relationships because they have opened the door to discussing those things that women (and I guess men too) are always afraid to bring up. When they write about what women don't want men to know I'll be first on line to buy that one too.
Rating: Summary: FINALLY, THE TRUTH! Review: Thank you so much for the truth, it did not hurt, it just WOKE ME UP!!! I just bought it yesterday and spent about two hours reading it cover to cover. I am a Psychology major and a student at Oregon State University. My specialty of study is, of course, Men and Men, Women and Relationships. With all the books I have to read, it's a relief to get the truth in such compact form. It's like Deepak Chopra's Seven Spiritual Laws. I eagerly look forward to reading the next book from Smith and Doe.
Rating: Summary: very good book Review: Heard these guys on the radio and went out and bought the book. Well written with lots of interesting insights, I'm giving this out to a bunch of my female friends, because I think its true that its about time women really knew these things, I think relationships would last a lot longer.
Rating: Summary: The Funniest Thing I Have Ever Read Review: Goddamn, I don't know when I have laughed as much as I did when I read this book! Do yourself a favor and buy this book - you WILL NOT be dissappointed!! Please write another Smith and Doe - your fans are anxiously awaiting.
Rating: Summary: Completely Funny and True. Review: As a woman, I already knew that the contents of the book were true, but the humorous aspect made it easier to swallow.
Rating: Summary: What women don't want men to know... Review: ...because it's not as socially acceptable as men cheating on their wives and/or girlfriends:Well, Smith and Doe, this may come as a shock to you, but there are also women who actually - God forbid!! - cheat on their husbands and boyfriends. It does happen, you know. Although I guess a lot of people, whether they're knee-jerk feminists who believe that all women are good and all men are rotten, or men with over-inflated egos like yourselves, don't like to admit it. It's interesting that there are not more books written about women who stray on their husbands. I guess it's because they would destroy our society's idealized images of men as these unfeeling, insensitive, oversexed clods and women as these frustrated, long-suffering martyrs who stay home while their men have all the fun. Men - and women, too (gasp!) - have been cheating on their spouses since the world began. Wake up and smell the coffee, - Rosalind Lord

Rating: Summary: Trash, trash, trash. Review: Why shouldn't you believe what the authors have to "reveal" in this book? Because, according to his own bio on the dust jacket, one of them is a recovering sex addict with 4 (at last count) failed marriages. Getting advice about male sexuality from this source is like asking a prostitute about female sexuality, or asking a homeless alcoholic about the healthful effects of a glass of wine with dinner. Don't waste your time or your money on this drivel.
