Summary: too bad to pass on
Review: This has to be the worst book I have bought or opened, so much so that i have decided to write my first book review after purchasing many books from amazon.
I found this book so uninspiring and poor that I couldn't think of anyone who I could give it to and they would even semi enjoy. I ended up binning this book as it was too bad to even put on my bookshelf.
The book is meant to be inspiring, thought provoking "manifesto" where it is really a poorly written , negative, unintelligent peace of incoherant nonsense. Spend your time and money on anything else but this book and it will be better spent.

Summary: Dark is Good
Review: This is the perfect book to balance out all those flowery affirmation books. Boyd has obviously been to The Void, or he could have never captured 'the other side' so well.

I bought this book for my son's 30th birthday and in celebration of his Saturn Return. Read it myself in a morning and am off to buy 5 more copies. Be sure to read the beginning story about 'Kissing the Rock'. This book contains all the good stuff that the Bible, the Koran and the Torah left out.
