Summary: Any rating less than 5 stars is truly unwarranted.
Review: My husband gave this book to me as a joke, as a male it was the title that caught his eye. Obviously a book so small is very easy reading but I laughed and laughed. What was being said was so true. Anyone feeling a little low on the injustices of women should read this book. My book is always out on loan, with the understanding that it MUST be returned. I have just submitted an English assignment on 'political correctness' and I used this book. As a woman are you sometimes treated with disrepect, made to feel subserviant or your views dont count, as the book says "I dont think so".

Summary: I don't think so.
Review: Perhaps I was more in touch with my inner bitch than I realized. Some slightly funny parts, but even they are repetitive. The author's bottom line: If there is something you want, it's OK to ask; if there is something you are asked to do and you don't want to, your best response is to refuse. The author advises practicing refusing by saying the phrase "I don't think so." While I think that this phrase allows for continued nagging, which can be avoided by the more direct response "no, thank you," a good place to start practicing saying "I don't think so" is when you are asked to buy this book

Summary: Hilarious and Helpful
Review: This book cured me of my Nice Girl complex and for that I will be forever grateful. (My husband, however, has mixed feelings about it.) The book hilariously exposes the logical fallacy of "Toxic Niceness" and empowers the reader to say what she's really thinking. It seems so obvious in retrospect.

Do you know a gal who's too nice? Do her a favor and give her a copy of this funny and empowering book!

Summary: I don't think so! has become my mantra.
Review: This book was enormously funny. It is more of a humor book than a self-help book, although much of the advice could be taken seriously. I commend the idea that women should ask for what they want, and say "I don't think so" when they aren't being treated right.

I read this right after my engagement broke off. It had the immense effect of cheering me up and made me look forward to the life ahead of me.

Summary: Any rating less than 5 stars is truly unwarranted.
Review: This is the first review I've written because the current "average customer review" (less than 5 stars) is truly unwarranted. I have always found humor to be the most successful attitude with which to aproach most any problem. Ms. Hilts addresses the problems that women face in our culture humorously and most creatively. While the title may indirectly imply "male bashing", she is fully empathic to women but never achieves this through alienating men. In fact, her empathy seems to extend to men in our culture as well.

Summary: I Don't Think So!
Review: Well, I really neaded this book...as certain family members harass me. This book has taught me to say, "I don't think so!" to people who are always asking things of me. This is a semi- comical book...not to long, but just to the point. It makes for a great gift.
