Review: A wonderful book that I have enjoyed since I purchased it back in the sixties. I quote the book often. The humor is priceless and will last forever. The world lost a gem, it's too bad he didn't live to write more than he did.

Review: An absolutely magnificent peice of literature! The use of language is witty and funny and I have never experienced such joy from a collection of short stories before. The ''Is He Deep?'' introduction set the mood of the bok and that question played on mind throughout the entire read. Fantastic

Review: Anyone who would like to learn more about Lennon in his own words should read this book. Very well researched. It was interesting to read this after reading THE CARPET FROGS by Alan Arlt, the best book of fiction on Lennon I've read.

Review: Anything by John Lennon is bound to be great, this book being no exception! I love this book, and the twists at the end of some of the stories. It's no wonder he got an award for it. I love it and recommend it to everyone!!

Review: Anything written by John Lennon is worth having - he was a gem. This is funny and caustic and enlightening, and will adorn any book shelf. I can also highly recommend "A Spaniard In the Works", which is my personal favourite, but hey, why not have both?

Review: I bought this book 35 years ago for 2.50, and it is still worth every penny you will pay for it today. The humor and humanity are as barbed and poignant as I remember them, and even moreso.
