You can tell cosby enjoyed his kids a lot. I am a big fan of cosby, paul reiser, and peter mckay. Al Roker is pretty good but is just a beginner at being a dad. I thought mckay's book 'welcome to the nuthouse' was funniest.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A Classic Review: I received this book as a Christmas present from my Mother-in-law. I'll be a father in the upcoming year, and thoroughly enjoyed this book. It is funny and insightful from start to finish. Many of the bits I recognized from a video of a performance that Cosby did. I'm not sure what came first.I had great fun with this book. It brought back a lot of memories of what I and my brothers did as kids. It also got me to realize that babies don't stay babies forever, and that someday they will become children and young adults. Thats when all the mischief begins. This is a quick read. I read it in under two hours on a plane trip. I'll be reading it again, once or twice more, before my child is born. Whether you have kids or not, or whether you are expecting or not, this book is a great read. I highly recomment id.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Extremely funny, a must read for parents and teenagers Review: I was only fifteen when I read this book. It had me rolling on the floor laughing. Bill Cosby is truly gifted in the art of storytelling. It showed me what parents go through, but it also sympathized with the teenagers. Read it, if you like to laugh!!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Everybody's Dad Review: I watched and loved the Bill Cosby Show when I was younger. My daughter now watches the show and says popi come see, your on TV. She loves the show too! The book is very funny. A lot of dads learned about dadhood from Bill. The book is as Bill is funny, wise and positive.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Reality Review: Skip reality TV and pick up this book! Finally, someone writes a book on parenting who actually admits that there is no book on parenting that can tell you "how" but only that "you're not alone" and "hey...this is some funny stuff!" Sit back and enjoy the ride. Great humor and marvelous insight makes this a can't miss.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Classic Book for All New Dads Review: Some of the humor is getting a little worn, but this is still the classic funny book for all new Dads, written in a warm and easy-to-read style for the average joe Dad and the Dad with 2 college degrees. If you're looking for something that goes a little deeper, try, "I Sleep At Red Lights: A True Story of Life After Triplets," by Bruce Stockler, which I found the most hilarious, roller-coaster and emotionally rewarding book on what being a Dad and a man is all about. Chapter on taking four kids to the ladies' room is a classic!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Very, very funny! Review: This book is appealing to all. I had a blast reading this book, and I left it around my bedside. A few days later, I found my son had picked it up, and he was laughing out loud! Cosby makes honest and true observations on life, such as "when fathers have to tell their daughters that Michael Jackson loves all his fans, but he has a special place in his heart for those who eat broccoli." This book is a definate keeper!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great Review: When I went though our minature library at home, I never knew that I would end up reading the book "Fatherhood" by Bill Cosby. Since I needed a book for my class I decided to try it out and I am glad that I did because it was worthwhile. Most young people probably feel that they will get nothing out of this book and that it is only for fathers, mothers, or old people. This book taught me a lot of life lessons not just about being a parent but about everyday living. It made me realize all of the things parents have to go through and sacrifice because of their children from changing diapers to seeing your daughter off to the prom. Most of all though, Bill Cosby wasn't just telling the readers this stuff, he was showing. Everything he said was serious yet funny. he is a comedian so i guess he was expected to write something funny. Maybe if more young people read this book there wouldn't be so much abuse and poverty going on with their children. I give this book five stars and am glad that I had the experience of reading it.

Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Good, but I've heard it before Review: While Cosby's stories are funny, many of them are reworks of his standup skits. It is a quick, easy read and had me laughing out loud at times but I wish it had more new material. If you know his standup well, skip the book; the standup delivers the material better. If you don't, by all means enjoy! Also, pass on the forward and the afterward commentary. It has nothing to do with the book but instead is Dr. Poussaint working out childhood demons and lecturing us against being a traditional parent.
