Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Deceptively simple and brief while deeply insightful
Review: You'll want to stop yourself from reading Zen Guitar too quickly. It's brevity results from Philip Toshio Sudo's economical, conversational writing style. Wouldn't it be nice if all guitar players could exercise self-control without squelching the sonorous inner voice? So if you get carried away; you'll just have to read the book twice. It's even better the second time around.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Not just for the guitar, but for life
Review: Zen Guitar speaks to that part of you (if you are listening) that gets so little attention in the hectic day-to-day chatter of this world. While it so happens that I have been noodling around with guitar for the past couple of months and is the reason that I picked up the book in the first place, this book is not just for guitarists. The approach that Phillip Toshio Sudo advocates in his book for approaching the guitar is a metaphor for how to approach life. I whole heartedly reccommend it!
