Summary: Loved It!
Review: I laughed out loud a couple of times while reading this book and loved how the authors told their story about their quest for fame. It's a great commentary on what it's like to be famous and how silly it all can be. If you're interested in what it's like on the red carpet, this is the perfect book for you. But as the authors advise, be careful what you wish for when you're wishing to be famous!

Summary: Summer book
Review: I liked this book for the most part. It's a light, frivolous summer at the beach book. If you look at it that way you'll enjoy it.

Summary: My new bible!
Review: I love this book! I don't know how I stumbled on it, but now it's practically my bible! These women have a great writing style - very conversational, but not at all shallow.
The book is a great "How to work it" guide. Basically it's how to work your looks, your job, your presonality, your friends, anything you have at your disposal in order to have a more fabulous life.
Now mind you I say "how to work" not "how to use" - no, no! They are sure to remind you that it's important to act fabulously to everyone, pass out your cards to even the most insignificant people, tip your hairdressers well, and be mindful of cattyness.
They also make a point to tell you about the mishaps and ugliness that come with fame - embarrassing moments, career missteps, all of which one must take in stride. It's all about image and spin - if you become victim to a terribly embarrassing situation the best thing to do is hold your head even higher and really convince everyone "I meant to do that!"
This is a great guide to life, and a great window into what the life of famous people really are like.

Summary: You must read this book, no matter what you do for a living!
Review: I purchased this book on a whim and began reading it on a Friday night. By Sunday morning, I had finished the book and began my mission to become famous. I have already tried some of the tricks in this book, and guess what. THEY WORK!!!

After I read this book, I recommended (okay, forced), two of my fellow actors read it. They also loved it and found it very helpful.

The best thing about this book, is that it applies to anyone pursuing any career goals. Even a secretary at a law firm could use some of these tips to boost her career!

Summary: a fabulously funny foray into the lives of the famous
Review: i read this book in one sitting, laughing hysterically out loud and eagerly scoping out the pictures inside. those who criticize the book take themselves way too seriously and obviously just don't get it. this book was carefully written by two talented witty women who have a sense of irony, are willing to share and expose themselves to the public and should be applauded. the book is witty, self-deprecating, touching and downright hee-larious. we all secretly wish we were famous but hallelujah, these girls scream it out loud. for those who truly believe they will be the next britney after putting this book down, need to stop reading immediately and GET A LIFE! where is your sense of humor?

Summary: Lighten up and read this book!
Review: If you've dreamed of being famous and have wanted a glimpse into the world of the rich, pampered and admired, this book is for you. Karen and Melissa expose the shallow, much-hyped world of celebrities and "it" girls in an entertaining, hilarious book. The authors offer over-the-top suggestions for getting noticed, yet some tips are realistic and helpful. It was a nice break from the serious, non-fiction books I normally read and the intense, best-selling novels I normally buy. Add some spice to your life and read this book!

Summary: Ehh
Review: It was alright. I prefer the stage play this tome is based upon.
