Rating: Summary: Stick with the Web site! Review: Odd Todd must have one of the greatest Web sites of all time. The cartoons are amazing, the updates are hysterical, the movie reviews right on target. Yet, I'm not sure any of these items translate well into print. The book reads as though Todd was constantly reaching to come up with usable material. Several sections left me with the impression that he needed pages just to satisfy an editor breathing down his neck. Some of the book's cartoons and sections were just ridiculous. I think Todd found a good format on his Web site, and I think he should stick to it.
Rating: Summary: Totally... different Review: Odd Todd's website is not only one of those "must-see" sites, it's one that draws a person back day after day to see what new unemployed endeavors Todd is engaged in. Todd Rosenberg is one of the most optimistic, empowering, encouraging individuals you're ever likely to run across, and the fact that he's endured our sluggish economy (thank you, President Bush) jobless for three years with nothing but the contributions from his website and royalties from his book are testimony to the survival instinct in this unique individual. Hard Times, Soft Couch compiles some of the best snippets from his site, as well as plenty of new material, into a work of art that strikes the very heart of the slacker generation. Long live Odd Todd!
Rating: Summary: Funniest book in years! Review: OddTodd has done it again. This book is fantastic. His brand of humor is infectious and a great complement to the terrific shorts on his website. BUY THIS BOOK!!!!
Rating: Summary: THIS BOOK IS THE BEST BOOK EVER IN THE HISTORY OF LITERATURE Review: or something... and stuff. tOdd
Rating: Summary: Why does thing only go up to 5 stars? Review: This book is really the best book I have ever read. Well, I skimmed it more than I read it, but there are TONS of words and I'm wicked busy a lot of the time. Anyway, Odd Todd seems like he really knows how to spend a day accomplishing nothing at all. The book reminded me a lot of Pride and Prejudice, but is totally different. My best friend Claudia just ordered this book, and even though she hasn't read it, she can tell she's gonna love it.
Rating: Summary: Funny Stuff Review: This is a funny book that I think anyone who has a sense of humor should read. It is unlike most books like this because it seems to hit a nerve that is in all of us - leasure time and being lazy at times. It kind of reminds me of some Seinfeld episodes - but funnier.
Rating: Summary: Hilarious Review: This is one of the most hilarious books I have read lately. It was good while it lasted. Unfortunately it has only 125 pages. It took me only 4 hours to read the whole book. I was a bit sad that the book was over, cos it was very addictive. Short longevity was the reason that I gave 4 stars to this book. If you want some laughs just buy this book. You dont have to be unemployed to enjoy this book. I am not.
Rating: Summary: This book is totally coolio Review: What's the worst thing about bein' unemployed? (Other than the lack of mon-ay and no health insurance?) One of the biggies is that feeling of being all alone in the situation and not knowing what to do. Well, this book will walk you through the basics of what is required of being an unemployed person. tOdd will teach you (in a step-by-step manner)on proper attire, menu planning, and scheduling your valuable "nothing" time. The author is even generous enough to share with the reader his valuable interview tips, ways to make your resume unforgettable, and new career options for the reader. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll want cook-ays and coff-ay and you'll wonder how someone so fun-ay could be unemployed. Buy the book-it's a good dealio and he really could use the mon-ay. So buy it.
