Rating: Summary: A decent book on craps Review: This book was easy to read and had some great stories, the whole game is explained in case your a begginer, and the book also contains information the seasoned player may find useful. The overall style is good, and the author is amusing. THe system resented in the book is good, and I have won with it, but you must know what you are doing, and stick to the system even when dealers mock you. I reccommend it if you wan to learn about craps
Rating: Summary: A CHANCE TO MAKE MONEY PLAYING CRAPS Review: This book outline a method of playing craps that give you a chance to make some money. Rating: Summary: a cruel joke Review: Yes, other reviews will say that they used the system and won. Anyone can win at craps in the short term: if you've played more than once I am sure you've had the same luck. But as you well know, mathematically, the odds favor the house. Notwithstanding the author's contention, no system improves anyone's odds. the chances of a seven coming on any roll are independent of what's happened on the prior rolls. Put it another way: if the 5 count system works, why does the author write about controlling dice? If any system worked there would be no need to try to control a roll's outcome. In the same vein, if dice can truly be controlled, why must one use a five count system? His two basic suppositions contradict each other. I go to Vegas to relax, smoke cigars and enjoy free cocktails. But for every person like me there's two or three that believe big money can be made somehow, some way, at some table game. Sadly, this books not only feeds that hype but pathetically profits by it.
Rating: Summary: The Best Book on Craps.....It Works try it. Review: Frank Scoblete is the best writer, he explains the details of play so everyone will be able to understand and apply. After reading the book several times I now have the method down. My first time I played for 9 hours starting with $300.00 and doubled my money winning $300.00. The second time I did not follow Frank's advice to the letter, leave when the table is cold, break down your money into gambling sessions, take a break. So I played for 8 hours and gave back my $300 winnings. I had the wrong mind set. I told myself I was playing with their money, but it was really my money. The third time I played for 8 hours to a draw. My fourth time I played for over 8 hours and won $500.00. I earned just over $100.00 in comps from the above play. Don't play craps unless you read this book. I now have 5 books by Frank Scoblete
