Rating: Summary: GREAT BOOK Review: "Casino Gambling", a great book that can be used by anyone who enjoys casino gambling. I am a Blackjack player. I have been for years. I purchased "Casino Gambling", for the Blackjack. After reading the Blackjack section, I browsed through other sections. I was particularly intrested in Roulette. Reading about "sectional betting", I was intrigued. I purchased a Roulette layout, wheel and practiced at home. I used the "sectional betting" spelled out in "Casino Gambling". It worked. I have played Roulette several times while in the casino and won. The price of the book and layout has more then been paid for by my winnings. Now I have another game to play in the casino. It is easy, a no brainier, that's why I like Roulette. Oh yes. The Blackjack section is informative. I like the approach of looking for the tables that have the likely hood of winning. This makes sense. Great book buy it, read it. Use it like a reference book. My book has yellow stickers from cover to cover.

Rating: Summary: IF YOU REALLY WANT TO BE A WINNER Review: At last a book that, does not give you the same old information that you have read in every other book time and time again. It not only gives you a new slant on how to beat the casinos. It backs up each and every method with hard facts. These writers actually show you for the first time that I have ever seen. How to prove at home, that what they are writing really works. When will Mr. Patterson's former critics wake up and smell the coffee? They also could learn a great deal. " A MUST HAVE FOR THE NOVICE TO THE PROFFESIONAL"
Rating: Summary: One of the best books Review: Casino Gambling is one of the best books. Jerry has expert on gambling and shows his skillful experience between an advantage over the casino's percentage in profits and a disadvantage under it while playing at any table games to beat the odds. His strategy on a money management system is very important to be disclosed in his book. He has a good wisdom about beating the odds in his guts. I think he generously makes his contribution to this book for awkard gamblers because most players didn't know how to find a way to beat the odds by using a money managment system. Read that book before you get ready for doing execrises from using his strategy or money management system. Jerry, if you still make profits from your gambling business today, you can always have anything in the world for free, instead of paying ---drinking for free, eating for free, sleeping for free, and traveling the world for free.
Rating: Summary: A complete Gambler's Handbook for all the casino table games Review: Casino Gambling, the 2000 edition, is the last book I plan to write in the casino gambling arena. Of the five books I have written, I believe it will be considered the best. The best because I have included advantage systems for the three most popular casino table games - blackjack, craps and roulette. Properly used, these systems deliver an edge over the house to the player. But there is a catch for how to attain this edge. You gain the edge in blackjack by exploiting biases caused by the non-random shuffle. The catch is you must scout for "clues" leading you to player-biased blackjack tables and winning opportunities. Chapters 5 and 6 offer the mathematical proof that these biased games exist. Chapter 7 shows you how to find them. You gain an edge in craps by executing a controlled throw of the dice. The catch is you have to practice the dice control skill of avoiding the losing 7. The book teaches you how to develop this skill of setting the dice and executing the controlled throw and how to recognize other shooters who may possess the dice control skill. It's all explained with words and pictures in Chapters 12, 13, and 14. You gain an edge in roulette by determining and exploiting a "dealer signature" (a dealer pattern of spinning the wheel and releasing the ball in a similar way each time such that the ball may land in a predictable sector of the wheel). The catch is you have to learn how to identify dealers who may exhibit signatures and you must learn how to chart them. It's all explained in Chapters 16 and 17. I wrote the book for beginners, recreational gamblers and experienced players. Beginners will find a description of how each game is played. The book is a complete Gambler's Handbook containing chapters on all the casino table games - Baccarat, Spanish 21, Pai Gow Poker, Caribbean Stud, and more in addition to blackjack, craps and roulette.
Rating: Summary: Good info, but not much about Baccarat Review: Chapter 2 is a must read. I assumed it would be along the lines of stick to your budget and don't drink. I was pleasantly surprised. Very useful info that the casual gamer probably wouldn't notice. There was some, but little, information about Baccarat in this book. Guess that goes to show it is almost an even proposition. I'll definitely look this book over again before my next trip to Atlantic City.

Rating: Summary: A sound, proven book of advice Review: I bought this book for the information on advantage craps. Dice setting and controlled rhythm throwing is real and it works! I've used the methods described in the book for the last 45 days and my wins easily outnumber my loses by a wide margin. Rhythm rolling and money management will give you a very definite advantage when you go to the casino. If you want to learn to play the game of craps correctly and make money doing it, then you must purchase this book. You will never regret it!!

Rating: Summary: An excellent handbook Review: I found this a delightful book. It's very easy to read, covers all the major games, and contains lots of practical, useful advice. And at less than $20, it's excellent value for money. My only criticism (a very minor one) is that the Roulette section focuses mainly the "double-zero" wheel, used in the USA. The "single zero" wheel used in Europe and in Australia, doesn't get much coverage. However, this is a minor issue. Overall I found this an excellent book, containing a wealth of useful advice.
