Review: This book is by far the best guitar instructional book that I have ever owned. I am a six year guitarist and since I have owned this book I have improved my skill level and knowledge by 200% and that is no kidding! I like the cd that comes with it. I like the fact that it is made to play your scales and solo over, rather than listen to some guitarist show off. I like the book because it starts off with the very basics then moves onward. It goes over all the intervals, chords, and scales. This book shows some of the best technical writing in explanation. Just an awsome book, and I recomend it to everyone that I know that is remotly into guitar playing.

Review: This book really takes the confusion out of a confusing subject. Breaking down what scales work with what chords and progressions is really helpful. These scales and voicings really allow your music to have a unique sound, everyone wants to sound different from the next guitarist and this book really helps. The cd vamps really allow you to hear each individual sound of all the scales. What I would really enjoy is if mr. miller would produce a book dealing with funk. I have found it hard to find a decent book dealing with this genre of music. In summary, this is a great book that will not disappoint.
