Rating: Summary: Peter Hart not credible Review: "...uh, Bill if you feel so strongly about this, why don't you tell that same retailer to quit selling your book on their site - after all do you want to be associated with such a company?".
Bill O' was right. That WAS a preposterous correlation!
Writers such as Peter Hart, lack enough worldly experiences from which to draw any rational, objective opinions.
Rating: Summary: Really!? What a bunch of confabulated lies!!!!!!!!!!! Review: A poorly written book, the authors love to bash OReilly, and sad liberals jump on the bandwagon ignorantly. As a matter of fact the USA does donate more money than any other country in TOTAL, not per capita. Nice way to disguise the truth McCHESNEY, and HART. The fact is, that I would trust someone to tell me their political stance rather than somebody else saying what they think another person's political stance is. I believe, DemoCRAPS, and ReBUTLICKINS are collectively a bunch of idiots. That is why Bill is so respected, because of his honest, just, and equitable approach. Come on people, we all say things we regret. We are after all, simple humans and err often. Finally, everything Bill says must have some merit. If not why would someone bother to dignify his "babbling" with a book about him.
Rating: Summary: A fair look at one thin skinned guy.... Review: A timely book, well worth your time no matter where you are on the political spectrum. All I really needed to discern about Bill O's true colors I heard in a exchange on his radio show. Bill O was going nuts, telling his listeners to write, email, phone a well known book retailer in the hopes of them taking some rapper's records off the shelf. Decent enough point as the rapper was overly violent and misogynist. But Bill O lost all intellectual leverage in his point when an intelligent caller said '...uh, Bill if you feel so strongly about this, why don't you tell that same retailer to quit selling your book on their site - after all do you want to be associated with such a company?". O' Reilly went nuts and sanpped back : " THATS DIFFERENT AND YOU KNOW IT IS". End of dialogue, next caller. I'm right and you, Mr. Public, are an idiot. Its really worn thin from Bill O and all the talk radio self proclaimed experts on everything. Objectively criticze them and they go nuts screaming about liberal media elite blah, blah, blah. I'm no liberal and I'm sure no elite but I've come to the conclusion this act got tired long ago. The subject book by Hart is clearly a step in the right direction.
Rating: Summary: Great book Review: Actually, my name is Peter Hart, no kidding. Anyways, I bought the book cause of my name, and it was actually really neat.
Rating: Summary: Ouch! Review: All I can say is that if O'Reilly and his fans want to spread the type of "dialogue" that they do, then they must be prepared to deal with this type of criticism. This book picks apart a wide range of claims made by the conservative O'Reilly. Judging from this, he's just going to keep digging himself into a deeper hole than he's already in. All I can say is that if you're going to support this guy, don't do it in public unless you're surrounded by morons (or other fox fans).
Rating: Summary: Oh Come ON Review: Bill O'Reilly has to be the best journalist ever to be seen on television. This book with it's stupid "Bill O Reilly Looks So Stupid" cover should be burned on fire. The authors are obviously liberals so you know what THAT means...spin!
Rating: Summary: The spin Review: Do you really need to read this book to figure out O'reilly is full of it? Just listen once and any sane person will understand...
Rating: Summary: Get the truth about O'Reilly here! Review: Don't listen to the idiot reviewers like J.D. Helsley.
O'Reilly was wrong douche bag!
I won't even get into all the information in this book, it is way too encompassing to cover in one little review.
Let me give some examples of O'Reilly's lunatic logic-
O'Reilly states on 60 Minutes that Maria Shriver had an unfair advantage over him since she used her name "Kennedy" to get a great news job and started off in L.A., where Bill had to start off in Pennsylvania. LIE!!!!! Maria Shriver started off as a lowly assistant in Philadelphia and earned it. O'Reilly pitched his show idea to Fox and has been rolling along ever since.
O'Reilly said on his own show he would apologize to the American people and never trust the Bush administration again if it turned out the stockpiles of WMD didn't exist- we, the American people, are still waiting for that apology.
Quote from the December 11, 2003 factor talking points memo -
"Canada can't help us anyway. They have no military to speak of. And the socialistic system they have there has nearly bankrupted them. So Chretien is history. A new administration is upcoming. We should be trying to work things out with Canada."
Here are the real facts about Canada -
Justin Thompson, CBC News Online | October 22, 2003
Finance Minister John Manley announced that Canada's budget surplus for the fiscal year 2002-2003 was a whopping $7 billion. The entire amount, he said, will go toward paying down the national debt - keeping it to a projected $510.6 billion by the end of the fiscal year.
Meanwhile, O'Reilly continues to see that America is well over a Trillion dollars in debt.
Lastly, almost everyone knows the Fox Network is totally biased and that if the Fox Network leans any more towards the Right, the world is going to tip over!!!
Suck on that Helsley!!!!!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: Oh come on Reader from Fitchburg, you didn't read it! Review: God, I get sick of reviews from people who obviously haven't read a book. The book is good, an easy read, and very revealing about Bill O'Reilly's qualifications as a journalist . . . I mean infotainer. I personally find it very hard to watch him. He just radiates negativity, and I just don't like to watch negative people. This is a great book for people like me, who have seen a bit of O'Reilly, found him off putting and unpleasant, and would like to try and understand why he is so popular.
Rating: Summary: Even 3 paragraphs show the inaccuracy Review: Hart disputes O'Reilly's claim that the US "gives far and away more tax money for foreign coutries than anyone else....." by countering that per capita the U.S. is near the bottom of the list. O'Reilly wasn't quoted as saying "more tax money per capita".
More goofy reasoning by someone who ought to know better.
