Summary: Keeps you laughing!
Review: I took this book to work and even people who have never been pregnant or weren't pregnant at the time wanted to read this book. It really keeps the humor when you are not feeling well when your pregnant. I could not stop laughing!!

Summary: A must read for women who want to be/are pregnant.
Review: I laughed so hard I cried sometimes reading this book, it is absolutely wonderful and all women who want to be pregnant some day should read it to find out what really happens when you are pregnant. Men should absolutely read it to, to get some(...)understanding of what is going on with their pregnant lady; I am making my husband read it in preparation.

I have never been pregnant, but I hope to be one day and I feel that Jenny's candor and frankness regarding what happend to her during her pregnancy was what I needed to, to the best of my ability, grasp, without having the experience, what it might be like to be pregnant.
Sure, all pregnancies are different, and hopefully mine will be a bit easier than Jennys, but thanks to her openess and willingness to talk about such things as constipation, her growing behind, mood-swings, weird cravings and, my favorite, because I have to admit I share it, the fear of pooping on the table while giving birth, I feel so grateful to her for telling me how it is. I now know that I am not the only one scared to poop on that table and I am not the only one to dread giving birth. I would not have shared that particular fear if it had not been for Jenny, so others out there who feel the same, you are not alone.

I have to end with telling you that Jenny's book, graffic as it is, does not scare me from being pregnant, it does exactly make me look forward to it at all times either to be honest, but Jenny makes sure that throughout the book she tells the reader that she could not be happier to be bringing her child into this world and makes sure that the reader understands that no matter what she went through, it was all worth it and she would do it all again.
Thank you Jenny, because I feel the world needed your book and I cannot thank you enough!!! Please read her book everybody, because I think you will get as much out of it as I did.

Summary: Entertaining, but nothing special.
Review: Let me begin this by saying that I've always found Jenny McCarthy funny.

That aside, this book could have been so much better. Yes, it's refreshing to see a pregnancy book that discusses topics conveniently left out of most others. It just seemed like she threw the entire thing together in an afternoon. Or less. As I read each chapter, I kept hoping she would have written more or expanded on her experience.

Overall, it was very disappointing. I expected much more from her. Maybe the next one will be better.

Summary: The the truth about pregnancy - a funny must read!
Review: Jenny, you rock! I have always been a big fan of yours. A friend (who is not even pregnant and has no kids, but loved the book)sent this book to me and my hubby read through it in no time, laughing so hard together at the truth and frankness. We are 7 months pregnant and find that from family and friend you just hear the cleaned up cutesy version of what pregnancy is all about. But Jenny gives it to you real, with the funniest book on pregnancy I have ever read. It is nice to get away from the technical guides with all the negative chapters, and just have a good laugh at the crazy stuff you are going through. The chapter titles alone are worth reading because she sums each symptom up with 2 or 3 word titles. My favorite chapter titles were "The Blue Twinkies" and "Niagra Falls" - but you will have to read it to know what these are about. I highly reccommend this book, what a great shower gift too. Thank you Jenny!

Summary: The Whole Truth About Pregnancy: A Must for 1st Timers!
Review: This is a great book for anyone to read - whether you are pregnant, trying to conceive or thinking about trying to conceive! It's funny, it's frank, and very easy/quick to read.

This book is absolutely hilarious!!!! I wasn't a huge Jenny McCarthy fan, but this book has made me a fan! She talks a lot about all the "unmentionables" that happen to you and your body during pregnancy in a frank and funny way - stuff you would never ask/tell anyone about other than your closest girfriends, and maybe your doctor. I think I laughed at least once on every single page!

It's less than two-hundred pages and is very easy/quick reading...I read it in a night and I am not a fast reader! I'm actually going to make my husband read it, because I think it will really help him gain some insight into what we women go through.....there are also some "things to remember" for your husband (to post on the refrigerator) at the end....awesome!

It's scary and funny at the same time. Definitely one of my favorite pregnancy books!

Summary: Crude yes Funny No
Review: If you have a spiritual bone in your body, skip this book. About what you would expect from a Playmate. I read the book anyway because the reviews were all so positive and I figured impending motherhood had softened her. The book was offensive particularly when she thanked the Lord for giving her better orgasms during pregnancy.

Summary: Belly Laughs is True!
Review: This book gave me an idea of what I have to look forward to and NOT while being pregnant. I laughed at her way of telling her story, because it is so Jenny McCarthy! It was great! I even read it to my husband and it made him laugh too!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A lighthearted read
Review: I enjoyed reading this book for what it was, a humorous quick read. I found myself laughing out loud many times. The downside to this book is price, $18 is pricey for a quick read and I also would not use this book as a reference guide for pregnancy. I also noticed suspious simlarities between this book and The Girlfriend's guide to Pregnancy.

Summary: My Wife Loves this book. Highly Recommended
Review: I got this for my wife for X-mas and it is very funny. It kept her laughing through her 1st trimester and has many funny stories and tips from Jenny McCarthy. Highly recommended!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Freaking hilarious!
Review: My sister who just gave birth this week read it and laughed to tears through the whole thing. Apparently, it's an accurate--and hilarious--description of her pregnancy.
