Summary: Another work of fiction
Review: I read the first few words of the book... and that was plenty. Anyone who has not educated themselves to the fact that Michael Moore fabricates his material is sure to ignore this feedback. One example: In "Bowling for Columbine" he mentions the father who goes off to work for Lockheed Martin to build missiles for the defense industry. I work for Lockheed Martin in Orlando, and WE build missiles for the defense industry. In Colorado, they build ROCKETS to launch satellites and deep space probes. A simple enough fact to check out, but it would not fit his vision of what he wishes to convey. Another known fabrication, the famous gun giveaway at the bank. The teller is on record as stating that it was staged, she didn't know he would take the gun at that time, and in fact there is a wait and background check before the gun can be delivered. So if you enjoy fiction, read this book, Al Franken, Hillary Clinton, and Dr. Seuss. If you want to become educated about the real world, better look elsewhere.

Summary: wow stupid white man
Review: The liar behind this book is far better than the liar in office. At least the Liar in office doesn't use bad statistics and doctored film to turn you against your neighbor. For every good point brought up in this hard bound piece of trash there is a fib and a half truth backing it up. While is it true that Neolibralism is leading us down the path to failure the steps Michael Moore makes in his logic are short sighted and filed with a terrible blinding bias.

Summary: This Book Should Be Titled, "Dude, I Hate My Country"
Review: You know, I tried to read this blatently liberal biased book with an open mind. But anyone who has the slightest bit of common sense (anyone who believed BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE was a true documentary is exempt from reading on further)or basic powers of observation can't help but be offended by this pathetic attempt of literary enlightenment. This Socialists' deep hatred for his paranoid idealogy of the Republican party, the Bush Administration and anyone related to it, seeps through practically every chapter. I challenge anyone to confirm the facts and statements in this book. You will find out, as I did that some people, or authors, will say anything inflamatory to sell a book or make a buck. If this joker could make a buck off of screaming FIRE in a crowded movie theatre, he would and then he'd figure out a way to blame the U.S. and President Bush. Don't waste your time with this one.

Summary: Required Reading
Review: Every single American in the country should at the very least read the first chapter. I bought this book on tuesday afternoon and finished it by wednesday night. This book, which is amazingly well-researched and paAcked with extensive sources, raises issues and questions that need to be addressed before anyone could consider heading into the ballot booth in November. No matter where you lean on the political scale, reading this book should be placed at the top of your to-do-list.

"Patriotism is defined by the love for your country, not your loyalty to it's politicians" - Erick Castro

Summary: Finally, the truth
Review: Michael Moore has been telling the truth for years, and is consistantly met with the right-wing slanderous oppision that has made up our country since the beginning of the Bush Admin. A man Joe-Average American could beat in a battle of wits managed to steal the election from the rightful winner, and no one has taken notice save Moore. He exposes the truth that the media has been too afraid to report, and furthermore shows the Bush administration for what it truly is, liars and thievs. I definately recommend this book for anyone who is dissatisfied with the state of the nation, but does not know exactly why.

Summary: Moore is the man
Review: Read this book. Anyone familiar with any of Moores work will appreciate his latest work. People need to stop bashing him and stop calling him a liar, no one has ever proved any of the facts or statistics he provides wrong. Check out his website at michaelmoore.com, he has a section where he himself challenges the people who attack him. Wake up and realize this guy wants a better America for you and me. This book is a major wake up call for anyone interested in politics and the shady past of the Bush administration. This book is also a treat because Moore is currently working on a documentary having to do with the same topic. Buy this book, read his previous book, and see his films, your thinking will be changed forever.

Summary: A few questions for George W. Bush
Review: This book is worth the wait.

Michael Moore calls out George W. Bush on his connections with the bin Ladens and the Saudi Royal Family, offers advice on talking to conservatives, offers his support to Gen. Wesley Clark, and is funny throughout the whole book.

- He wonders why the bin Ladens were allowed to fly out of the country when the rest of the nations planes were still grounded.

- He wonders why nobody blames Saudi Arabia for 9-11, since most of the terrorists were from there. Maybe even funded by members of the Royal Family.

- Moore wonders why Oprah is the only TV show to show footage of Rumsfeld shaking hands with Saddam Hussein back in the late 80's.

Much more......

Highly Recommended!!!

Summary: Most Important Book Of Our Times? Are You For Real?
Review: The review above was probably written by one of moore's marketing team. How can any true American believe this pack of lies that follows the previous set of lies and misinformation from previous books. The liberal media and those who follow and accept it these pages of lies hook, line and sinker are the real reason we have problems in the world. One day this author will be exposed once and for all for what is real agenda is!!

Summary: The Sladerer or the Slanderee?
Review: To our negative friend (who we really can't deny will be joined by many more) I just would like to ask that in the future you at least make some sort of argument beyond he's "full of crap." I don't know if you actually read this book but lets take a look at your review of Stupid White Men Shall we?

"Michael Moore's hatred of the United States is so palpable in this book that it is difficult to read. He just can't get past his debilitating anger long enough to make a single lucid point."

Now I deffinately know that you didn't read that book, or at least not with anything resembling an open mind because if you had you'd notice his many references to how much he in fact Loves America. This book is an important one. Is it liberal propaganda? Sure it is! But that doesn't change the fact that it asks important questions that No one has been willing to answer with anything resembling a true account. As for my further comments on this book and others like it I'll copy over parts of my review of Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them by the aforementioned Franken, because my thoughts on this book are much the same:

I find it interesting that in nearly every negative review of this book or others like it, one is presented with a barrage of random angry words or ocassionally a few "facts" that can be found through a variety of obviously partisan sources. In one such reveiw, someone ranted about how France and Russia had many economic interests in Iraq. Damn straight they had interests, but wouldn't you know it, so do we. In fact we buy much more Iraqi oil than either of those nations. Besides if the US was going to invade Iraq anyway, wouldn't it be in those countries best economic interest to join the US and get in on the post war reconstruction deals that will undoubtably contain some nice benefits to the victors? And why did we go to war in the first place? Hmm.....nuclear weapons!!...uh, no I guess not those, ok Biological weapons!..oh wait not those either, um yeah it was to free those Iraqi people from an evil, brutal regime (that we had formerly supported in its war against Iran, but we'll sweep that fact under the carpet for now).

Of course, we Americans don't like dictatorships, at least not those that don't give us what we want. Sure the US has supported terrible men to rule countries such as Cambodia, Indonesia, or even Cuba (before...Castro decided to turn commie), but those countries were our buddies, making our baseball caps and tennis shoes and designer clothes. We can't be too upset about them. Read Dude, Where's My Country for more info along these lines, and belive me, none of it is altered at all in this case. I know this because I have written extensive research papers on the subject of American supported dictatorships.

I suppose by this point it's clear I lean to the left, but even if I did not, vicious attacks against authors such as Franken or Moore is just silly and anti american. It is their right of course to excercise freedom of speech, but more so shouldn't we as Americans seek to understand all view points fairly. Simply dismissing things that we do not like as "trash" is potentially dangerous. I don't think any conservative out there could honestly say that they wouldn't care at all if some of these allegations were in fact completely true. If someone can give me fact and reason to disprove these "crazy liberal" ideas, then I'll play ball, but hateful and random attacks on character and sanity do nothing more than make the conservatives look more and more the part of close minded pricks. All Americans owe it to themselves and to our nation to stay informed, regardless of whether they like the facts or not.

Review: I am afraid to buy this book on line because the department of homeland security might put me on their list!
