Rating: Summary: The author is a brazen sociopath Review: Though he might salvage a little dignity by donating any money he made from his lies to the families of servicemen KIA/MIA.
Rating: Summary: ranger or not, that doesn't change the posters Review: What Micah was doing in this book doesn't change because of a lie about his background. The propaganda is still brilliant.
Rating: Summary: Thank you for your words of wisdom, o keeper of the truth... Review: To the guy that has obviously created several accounts with addresses from around the country, and then turned around and found his own reviews helpful: gee, that "attack the messenger" tactic is familiar...where have I seen that before? If Wright, for whatever pathological reasons he may have had, felt the need to embellish his life history, he must be held accountable. Does that diminish any point that he was making in his book? I have to be honest here (try it, it's not as hard as you think...) and say that I haven't read the book, nor am I aware of having seen any other of Wright's work, but it seems a little shrill.
Rating: Summary: Lying Liar Par Excellence Review: In the Style section last summer we profiled a Los Angeles writer named Micah Ian Wright, who'd just published a shrill antiwar poster book called "You Back the Attack! We'll Bomb Who We Want!" In his book, he described himself as a veteran of combat, a former Army Ranger whose experiences during the 1989 invasion of Panama turned him into a peacenik. In interviews with The Post and other media, he played up that background. Wright, it turns out, is a liar. He never served in the military -- and confessed that last week to his publisher, Seven Stories Press, after we insisted on evidence of his service. Pursuing a tip from real Rangers who'd never heard of Wright, we filed three Freedom of Information Act requests with separate Army commands -- and last month finally confirmed that Wright never served.
Rating: Summary: This LYING lefty LIAR'S LIES are now exposed. Review: This discredted liar now blames the media for printing his lies. He paints himself as STILL the VICTIM. Pathetic liar. A CREDIBLE Amazon would update it's Spotlight Reviews to reflect that Micah Ian Wright has confessed his lies.
Rating: Summary: Speaking of Lying Liars Review: He even lies in his aplogy for lying when he said he decided to come clean. A Washington Post reporter investigated his Ranger claims and with no help from Wright was able to show his Ranger past was a lie.
Rating: Summary: Too bad the whole thing is based on a lie Review: Micah Ian Wright, as he has now confessed, was never an Army Ranger and never saw combat. He made the whole thing up. I feel bad for all the people he took for a ride. Happy reading....
Rating: Summary: Duped! Review: People drooling over this book, jokes on you. Micah Wright is a liar who was never an army ranger,or even got past a little college ROTC. So his whole writing career is based on a background that doesnt exist.
Rating: Summary: Micah Wright is a Liar Review: Micah Wright was never a Ranger. He never served in the armed forces at all. His whole career is based on a complete lie. He has zero credibility and you should keep that in mind when reading this book.
Rating: Summary: Totally Bogus Review: Micah Wright admits to lying about being a Ranger, fighting in Panama and many other things. Check out his web site: (http://www.micahwright.com/ranger.htm). He made the whole thing up! So why should anything else he says or writes have any value?
