Summary: Incredible
Review: THis book was not only entertaining but enlightening to examin the minds of the "troubled" children out there.

I read it about 5 or 6 times, and passed on the good news. Thank you so much!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Intelligent morbid humor
Review: I sympathize with the customer who bought this for her child, because this book is clearly not intended for that purpose. I, yet another Edward Gorey fan, found this book, read "The Debbies," and felt like someone understood the fun of being not quite normal. If you like humor that isn't afraid to be dark and offbeat, and doesn't insult your intelligence, pick up this book.

Summary: please don't buy this for children
Review: I mistakenly bought this book for my 7-year old, thinking it is a funny book. What a mistake! Its contents are definitely unsuited for children. It may also be revolting for many adults. Reading the rave comments by some other reviewers reminds me that ours is a very diverse society.

Summary: my kinda girl, that creepy susie
Review: anyone who loves or even understand edward gorey, the addams family, "geek love", or any good old fashioned black humor horror tale will love this book. i did!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Dark, Sick, and Twisted, But Most of All Hysterical
Review: If you ever need a book to make you laugh and at the same time make you feel like your childhood wasn't as screwed as you thought, this is the book for you.

If you have dark and twisted sense of humor you will be laughing at this book until you are in tears!

Summary: This book proved that the best story has no words !
Review: I know that title sounds strange to those of you that have not read the book yet, but mark my words the best story in the book has no words at all. This thing had me in stitches. You have to have the right type of morbid humor and if you know you do BUY THE BOOK you won't be disappointed.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Sick! Sick! Sick!.......But DAMN it's funny!
Review: I suppose you need a certain kind of sense of humor to really find this book funny...but if you have it and can look at these stories as just that, stories, even most disturbing ones can have you laughing out loud.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Twisted excellence!
Review: Disturbing, bizzare, and perhaps the funniest book I've read in a long time (or ever for that matter). Need I say more? The illustrations alone kept me rolling with laughter.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The Funniest Book I've Ever Read!
Review: To be honest, I read this while standing in the Humor aisle at a book store. It's short, but so effective that I was in tears because I was laughing so hard. I especially recommend "Little Scooter" who for some reason had a head that people liked to throw things at. Dark and upsetting, this book makes me feel ashamed to be a person. I think I'll laminate every page. If looking for a gift for some of your friends, this is great for a laugh.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: So funny it changes your brain chemistry
Review: How could electroschocked children, stupid vampires, homocidal misfits, congenitally deformed babies, and accidental amputations be so damned funny? Because as awful as this sounds, we can all relate. Oblong makes us stare at all the ugly and weak corners of the human experience and laugh ourselves hoarse! Looking forward to more . . . and the future television series! (we need this every week!)
