Rating: Summary: Bitter Sweet Ending Review: I am an Aerosmith fan and I am glad I read this book. I had already read Walk this Way, so this was the logical follow-up. I came to like Cyrinda, despite her sometimes ego based proclamations of hotness and social placement. She seems to have her heart in the right place and I do agree she was spiritually inclined from the start. Her actions often displayed a spiritual calmness and knowing, especially when the going got rough. I do believe Steve Tyler carries her in his heart and now that she is dying he has been given a second chance to do the right thing. She asks the question in this book "Is Steve Tyler on her team?" I think now we know the answer is yes, and his role in offering her assistance in her final days will undo the previous deeds and seal their eternal love as soul mates.
Rating: Summary: Don't let one book change your opinions about Aerosmith Review: I did not read this book. I did read "Walk this way" that book was by the "Boys" I did notice that Cyrinda was not quoted at all in the book. Some of the other memeber's ex's were. To say that my opinion of Steven Tyler dropped would be wrong. I am amazed that the man lived to tell about all of his earlier days. Most of which I do not think he remembers clearly. Cyrinda left her husband for Steven. Steven had just ended a 3 year relationship. Before you judge by only what an ex-wife says, read WALK THIS WAY. I do plan on reading the book Cyrinda wrote out of curiousity. I do not feel it will change my views on AEROSMITH. They are awesome.
Rating: Summary: Good but could've been written better Review: I don't see why some of the viewers gave this book 1 star and while it's a good book, I felt that it could've been written better and some parts of the book is interesting and I do have Aerosmith's Walk This Way and this was the book that got me interested in Cyrinda Foxe, the routine with Elissa and the airline stewardesses was funny, overall if you like Aerosmith: Walk This Way or Rebel Heart then you'll like Dream On: Livin' on the Edge with Steven Tyler.
Rating: Summary: Poor girl- so sad! Review: I felt so sorry for Cyrinda after I finished this book. She had such a hard time of it and now she is passed away so I am really glad I own her memoir. I hope she is at peace now and I hope that her memory will live on in the pages of this book. It is worth the read.
Rating: Summary: loyal fan from ohio! Review: I have NOT read this book, thanks to 'a reader from New York, NY', I wont have to. That is a great review and if I would have read the book, I would more than likely agree. It will be a very cold day when Cyrinda gets a dime of my money! I especially feel sorry for Mia. I think Mia is a very beautiful girl and should consider herself lucky to now be old enough to make life changing decisions and be smart enough to have a relationship with her father and have her own opinion of him. Obviously Cyrinda is bitter and is still dwelling on this failed marriage. I also agree with 'reader', get a JOB Cyrinda and leave Steven alone! Being a loyal fan, I dont find any of your attempts interesting nor amusing. Thank God Mia has her own career and can take care of herself just fine. Thanks for saving me the money 'reader'. Not that I would have bought it anyway!
Rating: Summary: Read Rebel Heart Instead of This ... Review: I love biographies about famous people but I'm sorry to report this has to be the worst one I have ever read. ... It was one of the only books I didn't even care to finish. Don't waste your money on this one - the stories are half told and the writing is contradictory and confusing throughout.

Rating: Summary: Wild Child Who Walked on the Wild Side! Review: I read this book and I felt for cyrinda. Its amazing that I read this book (feeling compelled to write to her) and found out she had died the day before. To be honest, none of us know Steven Tyler and how he really is. We don't know if all she says in this book is even true. Still as soon as I recieved it in the mail, I read it all the way through. I could not put it down. I was dumbfounded by the kind of lifestyle this runaway girl lived. She was brave but careless with her life. It's a sad sad story and I cried. I imagined living her life and it made my heart grow heavy. Maybe people don't agree with her book but its how she seen it. It's her personal life and she aired it and now shes gone. Get the book! Enjoy it! Its a roller coaster let me tell ya. But please keep and open mind because some things are really far out! But hey were talking about the ex wife of a toxic twin, what did ya expect!
Rating: Summary: Steven Tyler fan who feels sorry for Cyrinda Review: I'm a huge Aerosmith fan who has to read anything and everything on Steven Tyler. So of course I had to read this book, despite the negative reviews. I thought the book was just "ok". What annoyed me most was the fact I know Cyrinda Foxe has lead an interesting life (before she even met Steven!), yet she chose to mostly ignore all that. I would've LOVED to hear MORE about her time with David Bowie and David Johansen (NY Dolls), Andy Warhol, Max's Kansas City, ect. If Cyrinda had to do it all over again, I'm sure she'd focus more on those things! I can handle reading less than positive stuff about Steven, everyone knows he was a major drug addict in those days. But Cyrinda should have gotten into discussing her own faults, not just Steven's. She says Steven didn't give her enough money, she couldn't even buy diapers for Mia. Yet Steven did give her support money, it just makes me wonder HOW Cy chose to spend it. She admits she was addicted to heroin for the first years of Mia's life. Maybe THAT'S why she couldn't buy diapers for Mia, despite Steven giving support? At least she and Steven have made ammends now since discovering she has a brain tumor. I recommend reading "Rebel Heart" by Bebe Buell, Steven's ex and the mother of Liv Tyler. She saw Steven at some of his worst moments and comes off as sad she couldn't be with him because of his addictions. Bebe never trashes him though.
