Summary: Angry Blonde? More like Dumb Blonde
Review: Word up. Don't put me on blast, cause I tell it. This book's nothin' more than a rehash of Slim's well docced past. I *already* paid for the wicked rhymes. (Can I get a witness? H*ll Yeah!) Oh, puhlease! Now, he wants mo' money fo reprinting CDs?
Eminem's cool, he's wicked and wired. But this books just filler, it's weak, and it's expired. Heard it before, why ya taxin' me more? I'm not dissin' the songs, but you shakin me down. Is it money trouble, Slim? Is that why you chargin' me double, Slim? I'll fork up the the green for something *UNSEEN*. :) (Okay, to be fair, a few lines be new, with details so minor the key turns off cue.
Now, I do like you humor. I gave a star mo' than it earn. Cause I like you, Slim.. You crazy.. but I don't like to get burned.
I don't take you literal. I know Kim's stray and you threw a fiteral. But surely you play, reprintin'these rhymes, and more pics, when you *know* owe it to the fans and the nation to not fan embers like they conflagration. :))
Don't play me "Dumb Fan". I know I ain't "Stan". Okay, you aight. But is you clownin and lunar? Look in you mirror. You see R Downey, Jr? And this book is so tired it should be retread, recalled, with the advisory label expired, but "The Eminem Show", now *that*, I admired. :))

"I'm just playin' Em. You know I love you." :)

Summary: Well there are some good pics
Review: I am a huge Eminem fan but this book leaves much to be desired. If you need help with his lyrics just look them up on the net and save some time. The 100 word summaries of each song are boring and the lyrics are easier to read on the net.

Summary: Fair Book.
Review: It's okay. I guess. There's lots of bad language and stuff like that in this book. So think before reading and buying this book.

Summary: well......
Review: I guess if your the normal white suburban kid and listen to eminem, I guess its your duty to go out and buy this book. Nothing too special, just him talking about how he writes his tracks and his thoughts while writing them. Yeah ok, this would be nice if it were by an artist who wasnt so narcisstic. Every track Eminem does is self-faced, and talking about either his fame, his popularity, how hes controversial, or how cruel he supposivelly is. Yeah, thats some good reading, they should of named this book "Ego - the true story". Im not hating on eminem, I use to love his work up until the release of the marshall mathers lp. Simple fact is, every song he produces is self centered, and yet, hes so loved by millions. Stan - about a fan obsessed with him, kim- about his troubles with his girl, real slim shady- gloating about who he is, criminal - quotes hes such a bad criminal, etc. If talking about yourself sells records, then its obvious those that buy them must idolize you, and want to be you. Sad, nothing like "brendas got a baby" by Tupac, which is a story about a pregnant teenage mother, no you want see that from eminem, perhaps a story about him raping a teenager would be more "cool".

Summary: He does it again
Review: This book gives you a peek into the mind of the best hip hop performer now a days. He tell you what was going through his mind at the time when he wrote that very song that you treasure. I hope all will enjoy the work and effort that he has put into his music and this book.

Summary: Not Just For Rap Fans
Review: This book should be in the poetry section. Even if you hate the sound of rap; if you have any interest in modern poetry, read Eminem. Many of his song-poems are equal or superior to those contemporary poets are writing. Read by way of comparison Sapphire's "Wild Thing" which gained national attention, complete with Congressional hearings and heads-rolling at the NEA or go back to d.a. levy. Then read "If I Had." And all Marshall Mathers gets is a groupie book with a "Parental Advisory Explicit Content" label. What a farce. Yes, sometimes Eminem can be corny (his word, not mine); but more often his lyrics bring to light some profound observations on American life and youth. Spend the money, buy the book, read it and think about what this guy is saying. Maybe, twenty years from now this will get the recognition and respect it deserves.
