Rating: Summary: A magical find * A book about an amazing red haired faerie Review: "All these years" Gives us a magical look into the life of Myra Ellen Amos, a minister's daughter. It allows us to see how this talented artist became the inspiration we know her as
Rating: Summary: From A Tori Fan Review: A nicely written, brief review of Tori Amos' musical history up until the BFP album. While the biography includes only some Tori quotes and intropective info, it mainly focuses on her life as a mucisian. There are great tid-bits that breifly discribe her brilliance as an amazing human/mucisian, and great pics of her recording for each album. I would reccomend adding this biography to any book collection.

Rating: Summary: A Must-Have for Tori Fans Review: A well written and in-depth look at Tori Amos. The pictures are wonderful and quite beautiful, and it's nice to see so many of her earlier days. The book gives a lot of insight into her life and songs, and is something all die hard Tori fan should own.

Rating: Summary: The Girl and Her Piano. Review: All These Years is something all Tori fans should have. This biography has shown me the side of Tori I never knew exsisted. She is larger than life, even bigger and better than reality!
Rating: Summary: This book is worth it's weight in gold, no, diamonds! Review: An absolutely invaluable reference for anyone claiming to know anything about the genius known as Tori Amos. My only complaint is that it's binding isn't made from tungsten carbide, my copy looks like it's been through a few rounds with Mike Tyson after reading it several thousand times! Buy it, or you can't say you know squat about Tori or her music!
Rating: Summary: A very well put together "bio" of a very complex artist Review: Anyone who loves Tori knows that to know her, you've got to listen to the music, feel it, recognize what in yourself echoes in response, and then find your own voice and use it. This book skims the lovely surface of that which is Tori, but through no fault of its own, falls short in capturing all that is the essence of Tori. But, there's something nice about a coffee table worthy book that is stylish in presentation. And being a Tori fan, I consider this book an important addition to my library.
Rating: Summary: Beautiful Insight Into This Red-Headed, Piano-Playing Sprite Review: As an avid fan of Tori's music, I was anxious to read this
book in particular because it has been authorized by Tori herself. Within these pages Tori reveals herself as more than just a cultural icon. She speaks about the deep emotions behind each of her songs, particularly "Me And A Gun" which is Tori's account of when she was raped. However,
more than my own personal intrest in Tori's story, I enjoyed
All These Years as a well written and consistentlly interesting work. Obviously, I would recommend this for fellow Tori fans, but also to those who enjoy present day
biographies.
