Summary: Another Rolling Stone "eulogy" for an icon
Review: The best thing about Rolling Stone's compilation their coverage of Nirvana and Kurt Cobain is that it is one stop shopping. You can get just about everything published in RS abour Kurt and the band up until Kurt's death. Convienent? Yes. Informative? Well, considering Kurt rarely told the truth in interviews (for whatever reason) this book isn't going to give you alot you don't already know. The pictures are pretty lame - most of them were highly published during Nirvana's reign as the biggest band in the world. So, what makes Rolling Stone's collection so special? Because it's from Rolling Stone, the musical authority. If anything it's more of a coffee table book, especially with the dark, flattering picture of Cobain on the cover. Unfortunately, this is another way for corporate America to take advantage of a great artist, a great person who left this life too soon...

You'd be better off with something other than this book.

Summary: Kurt Cobain's a god!
Review: The book is about Legend's (Kurt Cobain) life, it describes everything, how he lived, how hard were the times on him.

Summary: whoa
Review: The book shows the amazing and turbulent life of Kurt Cobain through words and pictures. It is so sad that instead of quitting the band which he seemed to hate so much, he ended his life. He was, in my humble opinion, the most influential musician of the 90's.

Summary: Simply beautiful.
Review: There's a slew of Cobain bios floating around. This is one of the better ones. Lots of gorgeous pictures, great articles, and it's just a unique book. Buy it before it goes out of stock.

Summary: Great Book, A Must-Buy
Review: This book by Rolling Stone Editors is one of the best books about Kurt and Nirvana. When I bought it, I was wary, hoping it ouldn't focus of the death only, or the nasty rumors (which I think the Vanity Fair Writer should have been sued for slander or something like that). Thankfully, it didn't. It did show Kurt's side of the story, which is a good thing. This book told many interesting facts about Kurt that I never knew, and some neat pictures. A discography and concert dates helped. This book is worth buying, and if possible you should try to obtain the hardcover, 1st edition since it may be worth more in the future. 5 stars

Summary: Kurt Cobain
Review: This book, Kurt Cobain, by The Editors of Rolling Stone, was a very interesting book. It was difficult to stop reading when i needed to because it was filled with interesting facts and stories about Cobains life with his band, his love life with Courtney Love, and his death. I would recommend reading this book to any teen, or adult who liked Kurt and his band Nirvana, or if you are a fan of any kind of rock music.

Summary: Can't get any better than this!
Review: This is a fabulous book. I'm a Kurt Cobain/Nirvana fanatic, and I've read quite a few books and seen quite a few pictures. This is THE BEST I've seen. Has a section on just about everything you could possibly imagine. If you want to know ANYthing about Kurt, get this book, and that's all you need. Has some interesting drawings on it, sections on Courtney Love and Frances Bean. It's a wonderful book.
