Summary: I love the Sound of Music
Review: I really enjoyed Forever Liesel because I am a huge fan of the Sound of Music. This book gave more insight into the mind and heart of one of my favorite characters in the film. I really enjoyed learning about her life and about the other people involved in the picture. One of the things I especially loved about the book is reading all of the letters from the fans who loved the movie as much as I did. Anyone who is a fan of the Sound of Music should read this book because it is extraordinary and they will LOVE IT!

Review: I thought it was really good. It was one that you could never put down if you were a big sound of music fan. I saw her in Madison WI promoting her book after the play but I didnt go and meet her.

Summary: Charmian Carr is forever a Class act!
Review: If you are a fan of The Sound of Music, then this is the book for you! However, if you are looking for some trashy Hollywood tell all, then keep looking. Ms. Carr tells her story with such warmth and grace. What is most touching about this book is the relationships that developed among the 'siblings' of the film, and how they are still there for each other. I have always been a fan of Ms. Carr's and I thank her for a great book!

Review: If you are a Sound of Music fan, then Forever Liesl is a must read! I enjoyed reading about the making of the movie and how it has affected the lives of many people. The book really made me appreciate the movie even more. It was great to learn that Charmian and her six "celluloid siblings" have kept in touch over the years. Definitely one of My Favourite Things!

Summary: Great Book!
Review: Reading "Forever Liesl" was a very emotional experience. Not only does Ms. Carr relate the interesting details of the making of the movie, she shares so much of herself and her life. Life is not always a happy experinece, even for the famous. I am convinced that Charmian Carr is a wonderful person. She cares so much for her friends and family. Finally, she cares for, knows about, and shares the real story of the real Von Trapp Family. It added to my enjoyment of the book that I got to meet Charmian, get her autograph, and get my picture made with her when she was in Lexington, Kentucky. I will treasure this autographed book and the picture forever.

Summary: I Love This Book!
Review: Since I was very young, "The Sound of Music" has been one of my guilty pleasures and I simply adore the film. When I was in school, I had the misfortune to play one of the boys in a school play and whilst at an all girl boarding school, there was nearly a riot when the movie was shown. However, Charmain's book is a wonderful account of the making of the film and the effect that it had on her and so many other people's lives. It is such a great read that everytime after I finish it, I pop the video into the recorder and sit down and watch the movie again, thinking about all the different memories that the movie brings back. It is not unusual for me to play the soundtrack on a regular basis either. I can't wait to give a copy of this book to my niece and nephew, they have inherited my love for the movie and I am sure they will love this book as much as I do.

Review: The night I purchased this book I sat down and read it cover to cover. This book is so good, I could not put it down.
